Cannot recommend. Service was very slow. Utensils were dirty. Then they brought me the wrong meal. The restaurant is beautiful, but service is awful.

Last minute trip to West Point, and first time to Thayer Hotel and MacArthur's Restaurant. One of the best fried chicken I ever had, and desserts were awesome.

Alyssa was our server. She was wonderful! We had a beautiful table with a wonderful view of the Hudson. The menu was eclectic - something for everyone. The food was well presented and delicious. The service was exceptional! It was the perfect place to celebrate a special birthday.

Excellent service from Sandy. Food was okay. Beautiful place. The Brussel sprout salad was the best thing.

If visiting West point no better place. Restaurant is high quality... Not cheap and not fantastic but very good.

We always enjoy dining at MacArthur’s with friends and family. This time we had lunch with our cadet. The Sunday brunch is outstanding.

The food, service and ambiance excellent. Portions were very large and enjoyed taking extra home.

First visit. Dining room is nice. Wait staff very nice. Food was OK. Lamb chops superior. Filet mignon was good, not great. Cowboy ribeye good. All meat was served on wood cutting board. Juices just ran off the cutting board onto napkin the waitress put under the board. I don't particularly care for eating off an old wooden cutting board. How are they cleaned? The sides could be shared between 2-3 diners, that wasn't made clear. We ordered 3 sides and maybe ate 1/3 of them. Very weak on wine selection. We would have eaten there both nights we stayed but it wasn't worth the cost.

Decided to do a day trip to NY and headed up to West Point for lunch. Upon arriving the valet was welcoming and directed us to the dining room. The restaurant was not busy and we were seated by the window w a view of the Hudson River. I started w a bowl of lentil soup. It was very tasty but could have been hotter. My husband had a cesear salad. We both had the chicken salad club. It was quite large and packed w chicken salad and bacon. We passed on dessert as we were stuffed. Our servers were very polite and attentive.
