I tried this place because of all the good reviews, but our server took 20 minutes to come to the table, and never apologized. He recovered once he finally greeted us and was an exceptional server, but the parm fries we ordered came out limp, soggy, and hardly warm at all. The entrees were good. The patio was cute, but toward the end of our meal someone walking by started soliciting the table next to us for money. All and all between the delayed greet, dissatisfying food, and the panhandlers i will not be back nor recommend this place to anyone.

I always have excellent service with my celiac. The second I told the server, he rattled off my regular order, so I’m clearly not the only one.

Apps were a bit cold. Had the Squeaky Cheese. Watched the person go outside with them, back in and then walk around with them before coming to the table. The entree’s were just okay. Hubby had the Chicken Piccata, he started needed a bit more salt. I had the Filet De Burgo, it Was okay. I ordered M but came out more MR. If you are going to call something De Burgo, might want to make sure it has De Burgo sauce on it. Mine had maybe a teaspoon of sauce. Tried the Chocolate Molten Cake, was more like a brownie with sauce on it. It was not Molten at all! The server was wonderful though. Hubby and I thought we may have found a new place to eat but if the food is not living up to what they have on their menu…might be a bit had to return. If there would have been a manager around before leaving might have said something to them.

We have had fine experiences at Louie’s in the past. Last night was significantly different. We were anxious and glad to leave. Management made no efforts to console us or make up for a less than acceptable dining experience.

Wanted to try some place new today for Mother’s Day. We got there at 1:45 when our reservation was for 2pm. We were seated right away. Water was brought to our table 15 minutes after we were seated and the gentleman asked if our waitress had been by. We replied no. Our waitress didn’t come to our table until 15 minutes later and just took our drink order. Another 15 minutes later, our drinks were delivered and she took our order (This brings us to 2:30). Our appetizer was not brought to the table until 3pm when the hostess said we were caught in the middle of brunch and lunch being served. She didn’t apologize but brought us a second appetizer. At 3:30, we finally got our meals…. 1 hour and 45 minutes after we were seated. On the plus side, the food was good. I understand that it is Mother’s Day but the place wasn’t that crowded. There were empty tables. And other than the comment of “you got caught between brunch and lunch”, there was no apology, explanation, or communication from our waitress or anyone whatsoever. People came in 30 minutes after us and left 30 minutes before us. No one seemed to care that we had waited for so long. Just really disappointed with my Mother’s Day dinner and do not feel the need to go back.

We ordered a starter and two entrees. Our waiter apparently forgot to put our order in, as he came over after 45 minutes and tried to take our order again, not remembering that he already did. Waited another 45 minutes for our food, while another couple that came in right before us already left. We did appreciate that he offered us a free dessert for our wait, which we were then charged $2 for! The food was good, but the experience was not.

It’s always a nice place to meet up with friends. Our server, Gavin is so attentive and happy! The food is always delicious. Obviously we will continue to go back. Love this place!
