Christina was our waitress and she made our visit a great one. The service was outstanding and so was everything we ordered. The oysters and the lobster bisque were delicious. I ordered their special l, the twin tail south African lobster...never had better. The crabcake was really beautiful too. My son had the ribeye and he said it was excellent. I am definitely coming back.

This was our first try of this restaurant. We enjoyed everything. You are greeted by friendly staff, the ambiance is very pleasant. Our meal was done well and service was excellent. Bar space is cozy and spacious. Looks like people sitting there enjoyed their conversations. Convenient valet parking or street meter. We will be back for more

Appetizers and mixed drinks were very good. Main courses were good. Overall it was a pleasant evening except we felt rushed. We were about 15 minutes early for our reservation. There was no reason to be rushed. Out main courses arrived so quickly after our appetizers that we would have sworn that they were cooked in advance (they weren't). Desert and coffee was also good.

James provided great service. I had heard great feedback about the strip steak* and it definitely lived up to the recommendation! Beautiful restaurant, excellent service.

This evening once our 44th wedding anniversary. We started our evening off right with a good bottle of champagne, which was followed up by our Appetizer being served lukewarm. This was quickly replaced at the same time the salad arrived. We had ordered a nice bottle of red wine just after our entrées arrived the server informed me that the bottle we ordered was not in stock. Halfway through our entrées, the replacement bottle of red wine did arrive at the table and was excellent. Dessert was also very good. I just expect when you come to restaurant like this you are interested in a fine dining experience and this was anything but that. We felt the servers were rushed and did not have the time to get our order correctly served, the young lady who waited on us charming, but our entrées were delivered to the table by the chef running the pass because they had been sitting under the heat lamps and I waved him to bring them over. Lobster bar has fallen into the category of another chain restaurant that suffers from consistency of staff unfortunately in downtown Fort Lauderdale this seems to be the norm. I miss the days where you went out for dinner and had a dining experience like The French Quarter or the down under or many other restaurants that were in South Florida professional waiters.

Lobster Bar is my favorite restaurant in Ft Lauderdale! Although there is plenty of lobster on the menu, the name can be deceiving because the fish dishes, steaks, and salads are great! The food is consistently of excellent quality. The physical space is lovely. The staff are friendly and make the guest feel special. I give this restaurant my highest recommendation.
