Brunch was ok. Having a little taste of everything was nice. It was unique how the restaurant was opened up as serving stations. Food was good, not amazing. Price was high for what it was. It was a little frenetic inside, especially towards the beginning of the seating. There is no description of the brunch online (social/sites/anywhere) so including everything offered: Bakery/breads/bagels were food service from a bag. Omelet chef can’t make an over easy egg, grab a Benedict egg. Chaffing dishes looked unappetizing, baked salmon was dry, potatoes and chicken broken and falling apart. Salads were nice - produce / fresh fruit were delicious, gravlax were good quality. Carving station proteins were ‘good’ but tough. Sushi was rolls only - mostly rice. Chilled shrimp and lobster were good - served from the fish display - nobody helping to manage the station which was seemingly set up to be served from two sides - yet one long line built up. No other chilled seafood selections, no clams no Bluepoint oysters. Besides the tomato salad - nothing else from the usual a la carte menu was to be seen. Besides the fresh fruit, deserts were lacking - macarons, mignardises - not good. Oatmeal cookies were not passable, soggy cannoli - no. Include those lamb chops in the carving station, clams and oysters in the chilled seafood, and have some of the regular menu items make a cameo (kolokithi, grilled octopus, heck even Greek spreads) and I’d consider returning for the price tag. It was crowded yet manageable. Service was good.

Great choice for a nice lunch. There’s a prix-fixe but you may want to go a la carte to have the full selection of dishes and desserts.

Greek Easter prix fix was very poor. Quality of food was lacking, restaurant was too crowded and loud, staff were run off their feet, making for an uncomfortable experience all round. Avgolemono had no depth of flavour, more like campbells. Maroulosalata was inedible, wet, limp and tired. Roast lamb was mostly fat and gristle. Baklava all pastry & little filling. Will not repeat the experience.

Arriving on time for our reservation, we were told by the valet that the restaurant is overbooked, their parking is full and we need to find parking elsewhere (nearly impossible in that area). Furthermore, we were told to do that quickly to keep our reservation time. Our party split up to both park the car and check in with the restaurant maitre d. After finally finding the parking and rejoining out party, we learned from the manager in a fairly rude manner that because our reservation was for a main dining room, we would have to keep waiting until a table frees up, but we could always cancel the reservation and go away if we didn’t want to wait. Needless to say this created a tense atmosphere. Ultimately, we were seated about 45 mins past our reservation time, and from then on, the wait service was great and the food very good. Overall, though, the poor reception upfront made the experience subpar for this type of a high end restaurant, forcing the patrons to recognize that the Roslyn branch is mediocre to its méritos Manhattan flagship location

The food was very good except their lunch seafood salad, it was disappointing to receive 1 shrimp, 1 piece of cubed tuna, and 1 scallop with some vegetables. It almost looked like a side dish rather than an appetizer. Everything else was fantastic!

At one time, maybe 10-15 years ago Limani was my favorite restaurant on Long Island . Those days of yore have disappeared. The place was packed so I guess many do not share my sentiments or it’s just that we’ve accepted mediocrity. Not sure. The tomato salad was still pretty good as well as the octopus. Everything else sucked. My swordfish was definitely frozen . It was rubbery and bland when it used to be phenomenal years ago. They served pita bread with watery hummus and MUSTARD!! Lol A Greek staple lol . I’m done with this place

I had a delicious and generous piece of perfectly grilled salmon and my husband enjoyed his whole dorado as much as I did my salmon. The tomato salad was excellent, as were the baklava and karidopita (deliciously spiced walnut sponge cake with vanilla ice cream). The prix fixe menu is great. Service was excellent and delivered with a smile. The restaurant is light and airy, and very comfortable. Limani never ever disappoints. Highly recommend.

Saturday night is not the night to go. Place packed. Had to street park our car and wait 30 minutes for a table. No compensation offered. Service was good considering the crowd. My steak was overcooked. Will return another time for lunch or dinner when they have price fixed menu.

We had a reservation at 7:30 last night. Our table was not ready. We waited about 15 minutes. It was so crowed it was difficult to find a place to wait. Our waiter, Damien, was pleasant & gracious to answer questions about menu items of interest. It was our friend's birthday & we were expecting to have a wonderful evening as we have been to the restaurant several times. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The NOISE LEVEL was not to be believed!! It was impossible to carry on a conversation!!! The table next to us was also celebrating a birthday. The more they drank the louder they got!!!!!!!!! IT WAS CRAZY!!!!!!! As far as the food was concerned, the avgolemono soup, roasted beets with skordalia & the swordfish kabob were very good. The charcoal grilled shrimp were tasteless & overcooked!! The broccoli & cauliflower vegetables were just ok. Between the extreme noise, over crowed restaurant & over priced menu items. We will NOT RETURN!!! A VERY DISAPPOINITING EVENING!!!!! We went to the Landmark Diner for dessert which was quite enjoyable!

Worst night of all our Limani location visits!! Went with husband and friends to celebrate my birthday. Went to bar early to have a drink before our Rez. Hostess rushed us to the worst table (next to service station) even before “time of Rez”. Girlfriend’s and my apps and entree’ arrived cold. Noise level and crowds of people at entry/bar was ridiculous! Why would they overbook at restaurant at this price point?? Couldn’t wait to leave! Stay away!!!! Will never go back. Sad!

The branzino (loup de mer) was a bit dry and service was a bit spotty. Got lemons instead of lime with my drink (twice) and got feta when we asked for no feta on our salad.

Would have been great but dining with friends pressured constantly to move meal along. We were there at 6 actually arrived early and had to fight for a 90 minute meal. They interrupted 5 conversations at least. We only ordered dessert to hold them off. For these prices we should be treated better. Will not go back except maybe for price fixe special off hours. My Great food. Nice ambiance Really disappointed.

Celebrated an anniversary and were duo well treated. Excellent table, professional service. Had a speciality drink prepared that wasn't on the menu and was well done. Received complimentary dessert for the occasion. Food, as always prepared perfectly and well presented (still great as leftovers). So nice to have a wonderful restaurant so close to home.
