A great experience. The service was outstanding. Every dish we ordered was fresh and delicious. A very interesting menu that offered many choices. Our waiter told us the appetizers servings are very generous but despite the warning we ordered too much food. With a larger group the right side of the menu would be very shareable. It’s a beautiful room with a calm atmosphere.

Such a wonderful spot! The food was quite delicious and prepared in an authentic Mediterranean way. The staff is delightful and went above and beyond to help my mother and I celebrate our birthdays. The ambiance of the space is lovely, definitely a great stop for anyone staying in or around Rockefeller Plaza!

The food was good but the experience was not. The service was indifferent and dismissive. The physical space was worn and looked dirty. The place was mostly empty on a Friday night, so there was no excuse for a crummy table and a complete lack of hospitality. You can do better than this restaurant just about anywhere.

The gentleman (chef?) who took our order was very pushy - this was a business dinner and he was abrupt and pushy. The service was good as was the food. Expensive for what it is. The restaurant was loud. It wasn’t crowded but they sat us next to a table of 7 who were very loud.

Celebrated our 12th anniversary and this place did not disappoint. Running 15 mins late for our reservation was not a problem. Seated immediately. Great table right next to the water pool. Our waiter Andreas was attentive and gave great recommendations. Our food came out quick. It was amazing. In and out in an hour n a half. Great time. A must.

Limani is clearly suffering from the restaurant downturn. Even though the attractive splace was nearly empty, service was slow and uneven. Several of the dishes seemed like they had been cooked up in a training kitchen. The halibut was covered in an awful smoky grease and the tuna was smothered in a salty sauce of some kind (never a good sign for a fish dish). The salads were fine but were four serving size sharing type salads, and the wait staff never cautioned us that we couldn’t possibly eat one per person. We left a lot of food on the table. The prices were absurdly high for this type of experience.

This was among the very best meals we have ever had at any restaurant. We had west coast oysters and several appetizers. The stuffed calamari was great, the crab cake was excellent, the scallops were great. The octopus was beyond great and the Limani chips should not be missed. In addition, the service could not have been any better or more friendly. Everything about the meal was perfect. Although this restaurant is moderately expensive, it is worth every penny.

I ordered the mussels, lobster pasta, and a French martini. Everything was delicious. The only hiccup was one of the bus guys took my mussels away before I was done, but they made up for it by replacing them and the chef sent a tasty banana cake treat.

Lamani was everything I expected. A beautiful setting, impeccable wait staff, innovative preparation of classic Greek cuisine, and the price tag that makes it all possible. A special dinner to celebrate a special occasion. And they did not disappoint.
