In operation since 1978, Les Nomades remains true to its distinctive character as an oasis of civilized tranquility amidst the bustling activity of its Streeterville location. Culinary creations delight the most discriminating palates. Savor Sautéed Foie Gras, or Lobster Ravioli with seared scallops; Roasted Breast and Confit Leg of Duck, or Duo of Roasted Partridge and Bison. Artisan cheeses are extraordinary and the pastries are sublime.

Superb service, including an excellent sommelier. Wonderful premier plats of foie gras and fricassé of escargots, fabulous deuxième mushroom soup and warm lobster salad, mains of dover sole and veal medallions. A spectacular anniversary evening for the two of us

one of the finest french meals I have ever had, including in France. if you do not have a coat no worries. they will provide one for you. they will be my first choice for dinner next time I am in Chicago. The ambiance is quietly elegant, the service first rate, and the entire experience worth a night out.

An excellent fine dining experience. Service was impeccable. Food was good to excellent with a slight tendency to over season. Highlights of the meal were the lobster and mango salad, the duck breast and the dessert soufflés. Selection of wines by the glass was good.

The service was excellent (attentive without feeling like you’re under surveillance) and only outdone by the food. Variety of selection of the different courses offered something that hit the mark for both of us. Portion sizes were just right to consume a four course meal. Will definitely come again.

Food was good. A few dishes were rather tasty. Service was excellent. Overall, it was a good experience. Definitely not worth the money that they charge for it. 4/5 stars is what I would give this place.

This was my second opportunity to dine at Les Nomades (I live on the other side of the country but visit Chicago at least once a year) and it lived up to everything I loved about it the first time around. Everything about this elegant but intimate spot serving classically prepared French cuisine is executed at the highest standard. Impeccable service, an impressive wine list and absolutely outstanding food. Don't be deterred by the prix fixe approach - the offerings within each course are varied enough to please everyone, the portions are perfectly sized (you won't finish feeling stuffed) and it's all served at an unhurried pace that allows one to savor the meal, the evening and the company equally. I gave 4 stars on "value" not because the experience isn't worth every penny, but because it seems out of step to describe the attendant cost - which is admittedly high - as being "outstanding". Extraordinary might be a better term as, in the most literal sense, the cost is "outside the ordinary" to be sure. But then again, so is everything about Les Nomades; it is a special place not easily forgotten once enjoyed and I will return again and again.

Our dinner at Les Nomades was perfect. Exquisite food and wine, great and friendly service, a lovely venue - all round a really great experience. The fois gras and caviar, salmon appetizers were off the charts great! The duck was top notch and the grand mariner soufflé was the best I’ve ever had. Last night was the first service following Chef Roland’s retirement. Sous Chef Jeff Brocar’s service was world class! Thank you!

The cuisine was outstanding as usual. Sadly, the wine service was “off” a bit the night we visited. In fact, we ended up pouring our own wine most of the evening.

Truly the best restaurant in Chicago! When I say, “perfection” I mean it! Impeccable service, food is well -prepared, delicious, divine! The ambiance is exceptionally beautiful! One is surrounded with exquisite art, flowers, Lalique vases, sconces, French light fixtures and chandeliers! Chef Roland even came to say hi at our table!

I can only sum my experience up in a single word: “perfect”. Service is understated but attentive. The food is Michelin star level. If you’ve not eaten here you absolutely should.

This is an excellent french restaurant, run by people who know food. its a fixed price menu, and they did not have a vegetarian option. jacket required, as its old school. will definitely return with my wife. if you are a foodie, go. its an excellent experience.

We went to Les Nomades for a late Valentine’s dinner. Everything was perfect! From the ambiance to the food to the staff. We couldn’t have asked for a more lovely evening. Looking forward to returning again soon.

Les Nomades is a wonderful hidden gem for a upscale french dining experiance in the Mag Mile / streeterville area. While I choise the 5 course dining option as I wanted to try both fish & meat and all was very tasty the four course dining option was truly plenty,wonderful and more than enough. Service wasd outstanding with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Be aware that the dining has two floors and a different look on each floor. We dined in the upstairs Parlor Room and enjoyed it's quiteness , elegance & romantic setting. My partner very much enjoyed our Valentine dinner at Les Nomades and I think you all will too.

Amazing dinner and service. The sea bass was wonderfully prepared slightly crisp with a perfect sauce. Everything was light no heavy sauces. The lobster salad was perfection, the dressing was enhanced with a lobster reduction sauce “I think”. Champagne and wine choices went very well.
