The quality is food is poor. Our seared tuna salad was soggy and the fish wasn’t seared enough, it was floppy and slimy.

Having dined at Left Bank many times before, I was shocked at the decline in quality and value. The amount of food was paltry, with the eggs in my Eggs Benedict barely bigger than the size of a quarter. On top of this, the prices have increased dramatically. It was nearly $200 for brunch for 2. I am typically very supportive of restaurants and sympathetic to the difficulties they face, but this was egregious.

Usually great, we come often, but yesterday the food wasn’t great, the catch of the day halibut was dry (sat under heating lamp too long maybe?) and La Fete du Cochon cassoulet was just ok. Excellent cocktails though and great to be able to seat outside with our dog.

They gave us the right timing on attention so that they weren’t interrupting us at any phase of the meal, and yet they were there when we needed them. Facilities were comfortable (nice booth indoors, we were given the option of a regular table with straight back chairs; they also have outdoor seating with netting). The oysters were great, with 2 sauces and lemon on the side. French fries were pale but well cooked. Wine pour per glass was adequate. Nice wine list that offered a good selection for every varietal. Good offerings for cocktails and post-dinner drinks. Waiter and chef accommodated with making Panisse vegan. Don’t ordinarily expect high quality Italian food from a French restaurant but their mushroom ravioli was delicate and filling. Very nice pain (bread). More than one helping for a couple would be too much. The tarte with lemon and raspberry topped off the meal exquisitely. Management surprised us with a custard/ice cream filled pastry to celebrate our anniversary. Very thoughtful!

Our servers were excellent! The food was delicious! We had a party of 9 and they did a wonderful job of taking care of us! Overall, a great experience!

We had a lovely lunch outside. Lunch was fantastic. Live music was playing to add to the ambiance. Was a great mom/daughter afternoon.
