Our executive chef (Jaco Smith) is back hosting a recurring dinner series celebrating the cuisine and rich culture of his native South Africa. Tickets are a $110 all-inclusive price (per person), which includes six course meal (served family style with your own party), red and white South African wines (or zero proof options) and gratuity. There are options for community table seating, regular seating or bar seating. We look forward to sharing the flavors and diversity of South Africa with you! Note: A full vegetarian menu will also be available, please let us know how many vegetarians will be in your party. Other allergies and dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated.

Great service, attentive without being annoying, knowledgeable and friendly. Couldn’t ask for more from the staff. The kitchen did a great job creating inventive takes on some traditional dishes. Prices were in the range for this level of food and service for our Portland area. Lots of food choice options for our mixed group of vegetarian and meat eating friends! We’ll definitely be back! Thanks for a great meal and service!

Had a dinner reservation for 4 last night. We all got multiple different orders and drinks so everyone got to sample so many plates. Every person could not believe how amazing each dish was. Each bite was the most amazing mouth watering bite we have had in a long time. Lechon is a must for everyone. The vibe was perfect and the drinks were delightfully on point!

Very unique space and ambiance was enjoyable. Wasn’t too noisy and the servers came out quickly and were very kind. The menu had an amazing variety of dishes, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed.

We have ordered from them several times before and enjoyed their food. We decided to go for my husband’s birthday. It was s lovely evening-we tried the chef’s tasting as they were all things we hadn’t tried before-great choice, all delicious!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. We had visitors from Canada and Florida who have been to Portland before, and all said this was an amazing experience.

All of the food selections we made were delicious! The restaurant is very loud even though we were seated in a booth it was hard to have a conversation. The service was extremely poor, our waitress was not friendly or welcoming in any way, she also put us on her pay no mind list and only checked in on us to refill the water bottle. She seemed completely disconnected and didn’t care that we were celebrating a special occasion. If you’re only getting an automatic gratuity with large parties, you should pay more attention to your smaller groups. We have eaten here before and never left disappointed. Lechon missed the mark this time.
