Connaissant un grand succès à Bucktown depuis 1993, Le Bouchon prépare une cuisine française classique de style bistrot dans une salle à manger qui vous transportera à Paris. Il a été élu l'un des meilleurs restaurants français en Amérique par le Timeout Magazine. The best, nicest wait staff ever. Super accommodating, have never felt so welcomed at any restaurant. Incredible drinks and mussels and steak and fries!

Just a neighborhood gem. A little piece of France in Bucktown. Warm and friendly service, excellent bistro fare, a terrific wine list, and all reasonably priced. It's a place you can go on a weeknight and sit at the bar, or for a special occasion. Places like these are all too rare and should be protected at all costs. I'm so glad that they have survived the pandemic and a serious fire, may they stay open for as long as they wish.

It’s very crowded and I kept getting bumped by the host. And, it’s way too loud. The food is always good. But, my rabbit was too salty, kinda spoiled the dish. All I could taste was salt and pepper. It covered the flavor of the meat and the sauce. The asparagus, escargot, wine recommendation, and desserts were all fantastic.

Excellent every time! We were one of the first tables in, but it quickly filled up around us. The food and wine are truly some of the best you will experience in Chicago.

We were very excited for this meal as we had waited months for this reservation. The vibe of the restaurant was great and the staff were very nice. The problem was the food. We left and we thought the food was fine. The soup was good but the steak frites became cold after minutes of getting to the table. The soft shell grab was eh and the snail weren’t anything special. We were expecting more than what we got. Also it was a birthday and we were expecting an offer of a free dessert.

Half priced wine night was quite popular. The music was contributing to the loud atmosphere. Food was really good and server was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to returning!
