My husband had escargot and the duck. I had the goat cheese salad and pork tenerdlion, all was excellent! The service was also great.

It was an OUTSTANDING Mother’s Day outing for our party of four. Geraldine provided exceptional service and was so friendly she made our visit yet another joy in a long line of joys we’ve experienced at Lavendou. Chef Cayet is a master genius who has never once served us anything but excellence! Our favorite place in DFW, French or otherwise!

Our first visit occurred on Mother’s Day. It was quite busy. However, the staff from the hostesses to the wait staff were excellent: welcoming, professional, courteous. We loved that the wait staff was French! The food was exquisite. Coffee was wonderful. Desserts were decadent. I love great food and great service, and Lavendou had them both. We will surely be back!!

We enjoyed a wonderful evening with friends. All of our entrées were delicious and our friends enjoyed an apple tart for dessert that was very good. Thank you to Pascal, Pierre, and all the staff for excellent service as always.

We dined at Lavendou Bistro again, and I have found it never disappoints! The food, service, recommendations, etc., are always top-class. I would recommend Lavendou to anyone wanting to experience a French bistro in the Dallas area!

Had another lovely dinner at Lavendou. Geraldine was our waitress and did an excellent job inspite of the crowd (mothers day). My wife and I love to go there for a great dinner and fantastic desserts.

My mom and I had just the best experience. We were well attended to and felt like valued customers. From the bread to crème brûlée, our meal was delicious. We ordered the Caesar salad, trout and crepes. All outstanding!

It’s a lovely neighborhood gem. Excellent food, service, value and ambience. My girlfriend and I have been celebrating our birthdays here for years and will continue to do so.

It was my first time at the restaurant. I loved the ambience, the coziness, the interior brick wall, and the artwork. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The NEXT time we go, I will be sure to ask for a table by the window. And there WILL be a “next” time.

We started with a delicious red blend GERARD BERTRAND CORBIERES BOUTENAC CHATEAU DE VILLEMAJOU. The bread with tapenade olive oil was tasty. The lamb chops were perfection. My husband enjoyed his steak. The finale included both a chocolate and grand marnier soufflé. Delightful.

Lavendou is always a great place for lunch. My friend and I enjoy lunch for celebrations like her recent birthday. The food is always excellent and the servers take very good care of us. I ordered the sole that was fabulous. Lavendou provided dessert since it was a birthday celebration and the apricot tart never disappoints.

Our first time at Lavendau, for an anniversary. They exceeded our expectations at almost every level. Great wine list, a fine and varied menu, and a relaxed atmosphere. Service was great, and our server was friendly and helpful. The food was first rate, and very reasonably priced. We look forward to returning, and I thank the staff for making our special occasion special!

Disappointed in the online reservation process. Made note of it being an anniversary celebration but this wasn’t acknowledged. Also asked to not be seated in the very back of the restaurant and we were seated in the very back of the restaurant. Not a big deal but very disappointing.

This is without question my favorite French Bistro in the DFW area, and I've tried quite a few of them. From the patio space which they make as a lovely oasis for the kind of location they have, to the food, to the impeccable service... this is my go to place for French bistro food. I cannot say enough that is positive about all of it

Not the place for an intimate dinner. Tables are too close together, the lights are way too bright, and the noise level is excessive. The food and service however are grand.

Lavendou is always excellent. The salads are fresh, and the entrées are cooked perfectly. There are so many choices, and my husband and I have enjoyed them all. It's a good idea to make a reservation on Friday and Saturday night.

We love this cozy French Bistro and have been dining here for years. The food is always exceptional and the service staff, including Pascal, the owner, is friendly and they all work hard to always deliver a special evening. The roasted duck and rack of lamb were cooked to perfection. The to die for Pommes Frites were, well, to die for, easily best in the City. And nothing is more fun than hanging out at the lively bar with the friendly bartender after dinner and inevitably bumping into old friends. Always guaranteed a great dinner and overall good time.

Absolutely wonderful French food. We had a very creative duck appetizer. Our entrees both had delicious sauces. Soufflés for dessert were the perfect ending.

Lavendou is a perfect place to enjoy lunch with a friend. The food and service is always exceptional, and you never feel rushed. We sat and talked for almost 3 hours, celebrating her birthday. Thank you, Robert, for taking great care of us.

The cassoulet is a delicious, hearty entree. It is only served November thru March. My husband enjoyed the filet of sole with crabmeat which is always prepared perfectly. Lavendou is always wonderful.
