The best part of our experience was our server and the ambiance. Other than that it was extremely over priced for what was offered. I don’t mind paying a lot. I expected to pay a lot. What I didn’t expect was the minuscule portions. Tea sandwiches are typically small but these were not sandwiches, they were literally bite sized. Flavors were underwhelming. Not even close to the quality or quantity I’d expect at the prices charged. I’ve been to many high tea services. This was the most expensive and most disappointing.

We were there for breakfast and although the service was very good, we were disappointed that the bill was incredibly high -- and the service percentage was very steep. I would not recommend the Laurel Court for the reason that the value is very weak since the bill for breakfast for three (most uncooked) was almost $200.

Laurel Court Restaurant inside the wonderful Fairmont Hotel is an elegant and pleasing environment for a luxurious buffet brunch. The food selection was also a pleasant surprise with the variety and freshness of all dishes. We especially loved the seafood; grilled salmon with béarnaise sauce, oysters on the half-shell, and prawns. There was an amazing bread bar as well as traditional brunch classics (French toast, eggs Benedict, made to order omelet, and a lovely dessert table with a nice variety of baked goods, including perfect macarons. A bit pricey for a buffet, but the ambiance and service made it a wonderful experience.

The menu items had (v) (vg) (gf) (df) etc which is great so that you can order correctly if you are vegan or vegetarian. The issue is that every item marked with a v or vg was not correct, making it difficult to choose the appropriate meal.

The restaurant is beautiful, but the service was slow. The food/menu for brunch was decent but unremarkable.

Meh. Would have like more egg dishes beside an omelette station. Seemed like it was heavier on the lunch option compared to breakfast.

Amazing place to have a brunch date! Live piano music, low noise level, BEAUTIFUL venue. They even have affordable valet parking. Servers make sure your cup is never empty, very polite. The food is delicious-- we had the afternoon tea for two. They can accommodate food allergies. 10/10 Experience.
