The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. The weather was perfect so it was so nice to sit on the patio and the other diners were laughing and having a wonderful time so the ambiance was just wonderful.

Usually we have a good lunch at Las Campanas but our favorite dish the open face quesadilla is no longer on the menu. This lunch service was the slowest we have ever had. Lunch and appetizer order was placed at 12:15 and the we didn’t get out appetizer until 12:45 with entrees finally served at 12:50. I got the “mini” carne asada taco plate. Two small street tacos with flavorless rice and beans. The tacos were ok but nothing special at $19 for the plate. The chips had no salt and were lacking in flavor. The waiter mentioned they have new management in place and in my opinion, the changes may be effecting the quality of the food and organization. Still a beautiful location for lunch but this visit was a miss.

We checked in and we were seated promptly. Appetizer was very good and they was tasty. We had drinks that were very strong and tasty. Waitress was nice. We had a nice comfortable meal.

We were there to celebrate my husband’s 40th bday. I don’t know what it was about today but the service was not the best. We checked in and the hostess appeared to be annoyed and in a bad mood. We were seated by the hostess and our server came over to greet us; he was very polite. Another guy came over with water. He placed waters in front of our daughters and my husband and I was left for last. My husband assumed the water placed in front of him was his so he took a drink of water; to which the employee said, “that’s not your water, you know get served first” and walked away. My husband became upset and that set the tone for the remainder of the dinner. That guy didn’t apologize for his comment even after my husband told him he assumed it was his water since he placed it in front of him. That guys never came back around; which was a good thing. Our actual server was great and we can tell he knew something was wrong because he kept checking on us. What was supposed to be a nice family 40th dinner celebration was overshadowed by your employees behaviors.

The ambience was beautiful, the food was pretty good, our waitress was so nice but the food to forever to get. We were starting to get pretty annoyed because we had somewhere else to be. It took about over an hour after we were seated to receive our food. And it wasn’t even that busy. Love the Mission Inn but so disappointed in the service.

It is a hit and miss with this restaurant. Ive been here 4 times and 2 good ones and 2 bad ones I did not say anything last time I thought ok today i was not lucky . Yesterday we took my mom for a dinner celebration (she was there one of the good times that’s why she wanted to have dinner there again) Food was mediocre. Nice place to get together with friends but don’t go with high expectations. Drinks and appetizers were good. Our server was very nice , main courses salty . I thought it was just my plate but everybody complained of the same thing. Large bill and we did not get to eat or enjoy our food. I think I will wait a while to give it a try again.
