Overall this is a nice venue, the staff is awesome, the Birria Taco's, Cheese Enchiladas, chips/salsa, perfect margarita are good. The reason for the not so favorable rating is the Carne Asada plate, what a total disappointment. You generally can tell how authentic a Mexican restaurant is by a few things, one is the Carne Asada and at such an upscales restaurant, they failed. First of all $48 for Carne Asada is not on the low side, the portion is meager at best, the flavor was fair. I ordered it medium rare and it came well done, accompanied by black beans, which were fair, overall the dish was just over priced for the quality. Great patio setting and again, the staff was spot on. Maybe there's a challenge getting quality Chefs and you have to settle for Cooks, but overall there should be a Manager that checks on the guest, you are in a high-end location, accompanied by Duane's, another high-end restaurant, care about your guest a little and help your staff, it will go a long way.

Food took 45 minutes to come to the table and once it arrived it was cold. Server seemed uninterested in helping us, very disappointed and dissatisfied.

Ambiance was lovely, noise level perfect. The food was moderate. I got the birria tacos and they were pretty good, but the refried beans were terrible. No flavor and there was not salt on the table to add it. I could have asked for it but didn't bother. I always say you can tell a good Mexican restaurant by their beans. I did have a Cadillac margarita though and it was fantastic! Overall, go for the scenery and surroundings. That certainly did not disappoint.

Went to camapanas as a hotel guest they first turn me down an the entry since no reservation was made and half empty tables i then checked open table and saw plenty of room, made reservation on the spot and showed it to host who then gave me a table although they advertise mexican food food is no way near mexico asked for queso fundido which turn out to be a cheese dip instead no cheese food overall quality is poor and amounts are very poor as well

It was Mother’s Day so very busy, disappointed with the perfect Margarita, not like they used to be, appetizers were very good and main course was okay, our server was pretty good though.

It's Mexican, so it's hard to screw it up and it's hard to be exceptional. The food is fine but you come here for the ambiance. It's a little pricey but you're paying to eat at the Mission Inn. Go for it!

Food was a little bland but still good. Prices are a little on the high end. Atmosphere is fantastic you are basically paying for the vibe. Service was terrible. Made our reservation for 1pm and didn’t get our food until 2:10pm. People were leaving because they were so behind on orders. We barely got refills on our drinks. At one point I even thought they forgot about us. Staff was friendly but that was about it you can definitely tell where they are cutting corners and that’s staff. I will more than likely never go back to this restaurant. Far better ones within this price point with way better service.

To be on Open Table I sort of expect food that is at least as good as a national fast food chain. This place’s food is so much worse. No flavor. No presentation. Dry tough meat. Service was also not good. Server and hostess looked worn down and definitely not friendly. One of our orders was wrong and no recognition and the replacement food after the wrong order was served was not fresh or appetizing.

Food on cinco de Mayo was poor. It came out cold. The meat was unflavored. We ordered the special street tacos and they were not good at all. My daughters shrimp and chicken fajitas were flavorless, which is unfortunate. I do have to say that this was the second time that we dined here and the first time we came, the food was amazing so I’m not sure what the problem was on this day, but it was truly, not good at all

I wouldn’t recommend ordering the Perfect Margarita. It used to be served in generously sized margarita glassware with fresh fruit juices and garnish. It was served in a small “on the rocks” glass and tasted very ordinary. The food was excellent, but you shouldn’t call a margarita “Perfect” and deliver a small, ordinary beverage.

Beautiful location in the courtyard of the Mission Inn Hotel, but the food was average at best. No one in our group ate their entire meal. Our group of 7 spent 2.5 hours in the restaurant, not because we wanted a leisurely lunch, but because it took that long to order, receive food, eat and pay the check. Service and food delivery were very slow. Would not recommend nor would we return.

My husband and I met a friend for lunch at Las Campanas and we had a wonderful time. The service was outstanding, Karina was terrific. The food was good and the location and atmosphere was wonderful. The Mariachi's though excellent do make it difficult to talk, but all in all a great time spent.

The patio was nice our server Shelia was wonderful. The food was the worst Mexican food I have ever experienced. No flavor what so ever. Bland bland and bland. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce. Everything needed salt on top of spice. Never going to eat there again. Costly and terrible. I don’t mind paying if the food was good!

The ambience of eating outside in a essentially a beautiful garden is the reason to go. The food is very overpriced and not exciting. My taco salad without additional meat was a pile of lettuce with a few beans and corn lightly sprinkled through. No guac, no sour cream, no extras, nothing and yet $16. My friend's kale ceasar with shrimp was $29 and mainly lettuce as well. Service was minimal. Free chips and salsa are a major plus, though.

This place was always long on ambiance short on cuisine, not anymore, lunch was outstanding: terrific freshly made guacamole, delicious shrimp enchiladas, incredibly tender pork in a soup based chili verde—the entire meal was worlds better than before, looking forward to returning soon, highest recommendation!!!!

The service was really bad. It took 30 minutes to get seated correctly with the group, it took one hour to get water on the table, and it took 1 1/2 to get utensils at the table along with the server. Food quality was just okay, nothing special. I would not recommend this place and I won't be back.

This was my 2nd time visiting Las Campanas. We sat outside for a business lunch, the day was a little gloomy but they had the fire pit on. It was so beautiful. Service was great and the food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back

Service was very slow. Appetizer order was never placed and it eventually it came out with our meal once we complained. Had to track someone down to order more drinks. Also started raining and restaurant wasn’t prepared with umbrellas. We had to take it upon ourselves to grab an umbrella and open it over our table. But it didn’t cover the whole table and half our group had to move to another table to get out of the rain.

Terrible service ! Slow . Only 1 waiter and very long wait . Not a pleasant experience . In the past has always been good , but today was disappointing .
