Located in the charming beach town of Gearhart, OR - possibly best known for being the summer home & final resting place of James Beard, the godfather of American fine dining, The Pacific Way is located in a history filled 1929 building. Depending on the coastal weather, you may chose a cozy space indoors, warm by a fire or dine in our covered dog friendly patio. Our menu changes seasonally & the chef offers chalkboard menu items regularly, so for the latest information please see our website: pacificwaycafe.com. You'll find our menu is seafood forward, but it is worth noting our pasta is made in-house and there's always something special on deck for the vegetarian and carnivore in the group. Au cœur même de la Joel Palmer House est le champignon. La maison cherche à utiliser des ingrédients saisonniers et locaux, y compris de nombreux laitues, herbes et légumes locaux dont certains viennent du jardin culinaire particulier du restaurant. La cuisine « libre » du restaurant prend souvent son inspiration des ingrédients utilisées dans la cuisine de la France, de la Chine, de la Thaïlande, de la Pologne et de l'Inde. Les célèbres vins d'Oregon, surtout le Pinot Noir, le Pinot Gris et le Chardonnay, se marient parfaitement aux plats. La vaste carte des vins, sur laquelle figurent principalement des vins d'Oregon, a été honoré du Best of Award of Excellence par l'association Wine Spectator. Il est à noter que la Joel Palmer House est classé parmi les maisons historiques les plus élégantes d'Oregon et figure sur le National Register of Historic Places ainsi que l'Oregon Historic Register. The Depot Restaurant - Seaview features casual fine dining offering a Chef's Table to watch owner Chef Michael Lalewicz perform his magic from a display kitchen. The covered heated deck adds outdoor seating. A northwest and international wine list offers 16 wines by the glass, five microbrews and a hard cider on-tap. This 132 year old train station from the peninsula's Clamshell Railroad feels like a French Bistro especially when seated at the 9 seat counter reminding one of the Orient Express. Northwest Palate claims "Lalewicz has food angels in the kitchen" and food writer Gerry Frank of the Oregonian declares "the Depot is one of the best Dinner Houses in the Northwest"
