John R a passé de nombreuses années à travailler au sein de restaurants de la région (le Nicholas’s at the Omni, La Bella Italia, le Café Society en tant que chef exécutif, le Bodegas & 456 Fish), mais également du pays (le Lacey’s restaurant à Manhattan et le East of Athens à Long Island). John M Mannino à quant à lui reçu son diplôme de cuisine avec les honneurs de l’Institute of America. Il a été chef exécutif de la Bodega et du 456 Fish avant l’ouverture de Mannino’s. John M a également remporté en 2012 le prix de l’Inaugural Taste of Hamptonroads Iron, qui met plusieurs chefs en compétition.
