There are no other steaks like those at Smoque Steak because of their cooking method that results in a perfectly-cooked smoky steak. I was surprised how much I liked it compared to regular steaks, and it made the hangar steak taste like a more expensive cut. We shared our dishes so we could taste more items. The ribeye was a favorite, but that’s more personal taste. All of the other dishes, including the sides, have a special touch to them. Some favorites for me were the lobster bisque and the pot de crème for dessert. I also thought the cocktails were better than the usual—try the vieux carre. The atmosphere is casual, but with a more modern, upscale vibe. Think interesting lighting instead of white tablecloths. It’s the kind of place you could go on a weekday and not break the bank. I would even go just for a cocktail at the bar in the front.

Never disappoints. The food as always is excellent. Definitely a favorite spot.

We had a lovely experience at Saba! The service was TOP tier from start to finish. Best service we’ve had at a restaurant in years. The food was okay. Good pizza (especially for the steal of $10 on Pizza Wednesdays!), but the pasta noodles were a bit overcooked. Crème brûlée dessert — while technically French, not Italian (where’s the panna cotta?) — was absolutely delicious. We’d definitely come back again in the future.

Great! Logan square staple. We dined outside on the back patio. Mojito and chips and salsa to start. My friend had the special cocktail for the day and the fish tacos. I enjoyed the steak jibarito with rice and black beans. We shared the cajeta crème brûlée for dessert. Good friendly service and delicious food!
