Restaurants near Shalimar Hostel

Our server Allison was personable and helped us select some great menu items. It was really nice to see all staff being friendly and attentive. The owner was on site and she was lovely, checking in to make sure we were enjoying everything . the Spring goddess salad was really delicious and was a surprising standout. The scallops and Brussels sprouts and short rib with cauliflower rice were well prepared and very tasty. Drinks were also top notch. Nice atmosphere. A meal here is a much better value than one from a restaurant on the strip. This place is worthy of its high praise. Don’t hesitate to book a reservation.

I have loved Esther’s since it first opened, but I haven’t been able to get back since before the pandemic. So when I visited Esther’s for the first time in too long in their new expanded space, I was worried the memory would not match the reality. Let me tell you: it was better than I remembered. Pure joy. Every step of the way—everything was Exceptional. The rigatoni was even better than I remembered, the tagliatelle made me cry, and the lobster agnolotti made my heart skip a beat—literally breathtaking. (By the way, the asparagus and the Vitello Tonnato were next level as starters). The only sour note was realizing how much I had been missing the last four years by not going to Esther’s regularly. But that’s my fault. And that’s something I plan to change. I want more joy in my life, and now, in their beautiful new space, I plan to find that joy by going to Esther’s whenever I can.

The workers were very nice. The music was too loud for my liking struggling to hear the person talking at my table. The place looked nice and clean. The food was ok to good. Thank you for giving a little desert to my husband for his birthday, that was very nice of the restaurant. Overall, everyone had a good time out. The ginger beer, blood orange and sake were all good. We were able to find parking on the street and pay at the meter, around 5pm on a weekday.

Had a good time. Went during the day so it wasn’t crowded. Had fun feeding the birds lol
