Restaurants near Martin Luther King Junior Park

I’m not embarrassed to say on a recent trip home I dined at Meril three nights in a row. Having grown up in NOLA and my dad a chef, I know quality when I see it. I came to Meril in 2019 and I have been dreaming of returning ever since. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! From the crispy shrimp tacos to the Parmesan fried chicken salad to the pork and crawfish dumplings, everything was incredible!!! Shout out to GM Marcus B and the entire staff for making me feel at home at home. I’ll be back(maybe not 3x in a row) but whenever I come back home, I’ll be sure to dine with you!

The food was phenomenal along with the service. We eat here every time we come to NOLA and are never disappointed.

The entire evening was perfect - from the short trolley ride through the garden district to this absolute gem of a restaurant. Food, service, decor, neighborhood- perfect. We gushed about this meal well into the next day. Thank you Savanna and team - full freakin’ marks.

Gorgeous restaurant! Our waiter, Ryan, was very attentive and sweet. We had brussels sprouts and split a ceaser salad. Both were delicious. For entrees we both chose pasta dishes. They were delightful! A bit pricey!

Thoroughly enjoyed the oysters; raw and grilled. Also had the salmon salad and the shrimp salads which were delicious. Can’t say enough good things about this wonderful place. You must try the Frozen French 75. Too good to be true!
