My friend and I have a tradition of celebrating our birthdays at this restaurant and have done so for many years now. I was very disappointed in the food (fish overcooked, batter was like a rock) The service was lackluster and slow, much to my surprise as it has always been exemplary in the past. We may have to rethink attendng here again.

(New) patio menu was limited and pricey - $65 for Steak Frites. There was an alternative dining room menu we weren’t aware of. Starter was cold and mains were disappointing, however staff and management were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. The menu was new so hopefully teething problems as it is a beautiful venue.

Waiter was fine. For the price of the brunch it was very lacking. Other than the crab legs, it was a $20 brunch. Not even an omelette station. We were sat in the lounge even though there were plenty of open tables the entire time we were there. Not what you expect when paying $65+ per person. We cone been here for 5 of the last 8 mothers days, but will look elsewhere next year.

Fantastic mother's day brunch! Most amazing dessert table I've ever seen in a buffet or anywhere. Service was slow and absent, but the food and ambiance made up for it.

Great food! Beautiful waterfront location. Pretty good service. Love the character of the historic building and the modern resort vibe out on the dock/deck. One of our favourite spots for brunch, lunch or dinner.

Our server was lovely. It was my daughter/s birthday and this is her favourite restaurant in Kelowna. So thoughtful to bring her a dessert that was GF. Thank you very much.

Overall an exquisite dining experience. Food was excellent although next time I would skip the cheesecake. Some larger groups were rather loud however this provided a lively atmosphere. Love the whte table linen and charming table lights. The view is serene and elevated. Nice evening.

We enjoyed our dinner very much. The food was fresh and flavorful and nicely presented. Our server, while very busy, was spot on with his recommendations as well as being very personable and knowledgeable.

Quieter dining than has been in the past. View is outstanding, food was excellent, wine service at the table was great, however, server was a bit absent at times to help with other table requests.

Please disregard the “three star” on food. As mentioned to the server, I’m very picky, and I’ve tried most of the best restaurants in the town. So a three star for the food doesn’t represent any disrespect. Instead of 3 stars on food, I would give it 5 stars for value. Its foods truly reflected its prices correctly. Was told by the front desk and online review that Manteo is supposed to be ranked higher than this restaurant, but I would rate the “value” of Manteo as 1 star after my first try. There are a lot of amazing restaurants in the town, and the lakeside is definitely a great place for a regular/casual meal

Our group of 3 totally enjoyed the experience of brunch at Hotel Eldorado. The buffet display was expensive and well laid out to give easy access. It all looked delicious and, in fact, WAS delicious! The only point we agreed could use change was that the warmers weren't keeping the food as warm as is could be and it was quite cool by the time we returned to the table. The service was impeccable, helpful but unobtrusive. The location was wonderful! We enjoyed ourselves very much.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Lakeside Dining Room. Ambience was very pleasant and our server was friendly and efficient. The BC steelhead was perfectly done as was the steak and the sablefish. All meals were very tasty and portions were generous. We would recommend dining at the Eldorado without hesitation.

We have been to the Sunday brunch’s at the El many times and they’ve always been very good. I must say as compared to previous visits , we were very disappointed! It was advertised as a Special occasion as it was the hotels 98th anniversary and St Patty’s Day, so we expected a little more special selection, especially as the price was increased for the occasion . ( they made a special point of phoning us beforehand to let us know the price was higher as we booked online. We were fine with that as expected there would be more variety)They also no longer have senior discount. It seems they’ve reduced what they offer and what they did have was Cold. Breakfast potatoes were like overcooked rocks, bacon was cold congealed fat( first time in my life I couldn’t eat bacon) They had a roast ham but no one slicing it , nothing precut.. Small variety of fruit, pasties/ croissants-bread had no butter available we had to ask. Dessert table set up had nothing with a st Patrick’s theme.. ie shamrock cookies, but did have a few reg type desserts dyed green. No dessert plates , bowls, forks or spoons on table. There were a few balloons at entrance with”98” but nothing that signified St Patrick’s day and no table decorations. Unfortunately, I will have to seriously think twice before I would return.

We have been the the brunch now several times and in the past it was outstanding. This last time we attended brunch we were very disappointed as a lot of the usual menu items were not there. There was no beef carving, the crab wasn’t there and the cheese platter was a lot smaller than usual. The prices were recently increased but the options are decreased overall .

One "delightful" server for full house. Waits were too long. Chowder was excellent. My New York steak was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately it had lines of silver like tendon that was difficult to cut and chew. Sauce was decadent, small lobster tail and veggies cooked properly. Other guest ordered a fish type dish and said it was enjoyable. I would recommend with caution not to eat their beef and have something interesting on the cell or enjoy a stroll outside for the long waits. Tuesday March 12/24 6:30 reservation

We (2) ate in the dining room in February which had ceiling heaters because it is the area that is open in the summer. The heaters made it very comfortable. The view outside was lit prettily and they had the fire pit going. The gas heaters added to the festive atmosphere to the outdoor space facing the lake. The menu offered lots of choices. I had the Negroni cocktail which was lovely. We decided to order off the starter menu. We chose 4 dishes and that was more than plenty for the two of us.

Hotel Eldorado Dining room was the perfect spot for a Valentine's Dinner and overall dining experience. Vince was our fantastic, over the top "Waiter/Host/Entertainer" on this Fab evening. Though it's been awhile, the dining room will be a regular stop in thd future for our fine dining experience wants and needs. Food, service and ambience were outstanding. Waiter was knowledgeable, witty and friendly. Enjoyed the time there with good company. Was there the night before Valentines and the pricing was quite high, expected that due to the day but still amazed at the high pricing.

We always come here to celebrate valentines, the only negative that the regular menu and not a special menu was available. Dinner , service was top notch, the Caesar drink with maple flavoured drink was the best I had in a very long time and the dessert apple tart was outstanding
