A perfect meal in every way. We had the Prix Fix luncheon. My guest lives in Provence, so it was important that this meal be great. We will be back again to try more wonderful food. A delight.

A hidden gem! I have walked by this spot for years and never tried it before. I am so glad we stopped in. It was fantastic and we will be back!

We enjoyed everything about our evening other than the noise level. Wish you could find a way to dampen it so we could have a reasonable table conversation.

Had the fixed price menu which was superb. The Boef in particular was perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty. The accompanying Rhone blend GSM was reasonably priced and was excellent. Service was impeccable and the ambiance was superb. All in all a memorable dinner experience.

An authentic French bistro in the heart of Boston. Excellent service and staff. The 3 course prix fix was an excellent value. The cod and margarite canard entrees were perfectly prepared. The waiters were patient when I tried practicing my French. Hope to return soon. One of the best meals we ever had in Boston or Paris.

La Voile is one of our favorite restaurants - it really does feel like you're in an adorable brasserie in Paris. Food is always amazing, and wait staff is superb. We shared a charcuterie board to start, for entrees we had a grilled sandwich, the salmon appetizer, mussels, and whole sea bass. All outstanding. Our wait staff team were fantastic. The only issue, and it has now happened repeatedly, is that the wait staff is overwhelmed - too few people to handle a busy restaurant. It got busy, and I could see they were working as hard as they could, but it took nearly 30 minutes after we were finished to get their attention for the check. Love La Voile, but they really need more people during busy times. /jw

We had a good time celebrating my daughter’s graduation there. The service was very good. The food was good but not the greatest: my beef bourguignon lacked flavor and tasted a bit heavy and “meaty”. My daughter’s sole was ok. The duck that another one of us had was pretty good - probably the best of all the dishes. Service was very nice and attentive. Excellent wine.

The food was delicious and the service was even better. Servers had incredible attention to detail, even as we saw different servers details shared would not be lost. Was a great experience!

The sea bass was fresh and tasty. The artichoke was cut up. It was prepared in a way I never had before but it was great. It was fresh too! The staff could not have been more helpful nor efficient.

Delicious. To start, a leek quiche, a creamy and substantial but still light pie, with a generous lightly dressed frisée salad, followed by tender and flaky sole meunière made unctuous by a buttery sauce spiked with briny capers, and a warm rich molten chocolate cake married by vanilla ice cream atop a nest of toasted sliced almonds. Paired with a nice wheat beer, one cannot go wrong. Server was kind and attentive. Très magnifique! 👌🏼

LzVoile was recommended by a friend just before the pandemic hit. We finally had the chance to give it a try and were glad we did. We were warmly welcomed into the cozy restaurant, always a nice beginning to an evening. Our group of four sampled the beet salad, mussels, steak and risotto. Everyone was pleased with their choices. Service was excellent-professional, helpful and friendly. I checked off "moderate" for noise as I think it would have been except for a somewhat large, loud table adjacent to ours. We were seated in a back room that I think would have actually been fairly quiet without that group My husband was given a lovely lemon tart in honor of his birthday. I opted for a bit of nostalgia with a perfect Ile flottante. We will definitely return.

Authentic French cuisine in a charming setting, knowledgeable and non intrusive staffs were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the Foie gras terrine, L’Agneau and Sole Meunière! All delectable, we had a great time in La Voile and we will be back soon! Thank you!

Wonderful luncheon dining experience. The French onion soup was an excellent choice as a starter. We then enjoyed the dover sole along with sides that truly satisfied. A lovely sweet to end our meal and a glass of wine lends to a making this a place to return to soon. Service was impeccable. A big thank you to all of the staff.

Fun to watch wait staff prepare sole. Exceptional front desk person saved the day by setting aside a package inadvertently left behind- I was able to retrieve it after LaVoile closed, before i left the city!

Once again a wonderful and fulfilling experience at La Voile. Very helpful service (particularly with my son in his wheelchair). Unassuming. Unpretentious. Good food. Our go-to spot on Newbury.
