                                                                                  I was unhappy that I waited 35 minutes for baked chicken that was very tough. The boeuf bourguignon was great the cassoulet good as well. Service was fine

                                                                                  I was looking forward to a nice French cuisine dining experience and it was also to celebrate a birthday. We ordered our Escargo and though it was prepared well in pesto sauce, it did not sit on a pastry that we were accustomed, but was offered bread. The escargo was good but as tasty as I would have liked,,,lacked garlic taste. The risotto appetizer was tasty, though the rice was not as soft as I had expected. The braised beef shoulder had a thick sauce that was a bit too thick and salty. The braised beef was not as tender and braised as I would have liked. The duck entree was tasty and light. The duck though was a bit tough. The service, though, was good and friendly. Overall, I was disappointed by the food. I do like French cuisine, but tonight the chef must have been off. I do not think I would come back again due to this experience, but might give it a try if I hear the preparation of the food is better.

                                                                                  My wife and I enjoyed it. Great service, great food. We have been to La Voile on Newbury several times. First time in Brookline did not disappoint! Nice bday dinner. Merci!

                                                                                  Loved the vegan dish. And Andreas was very good as the initial dish is with lentil that is not vegan(as made with chicken broth) but he made sure to replace it. Also excellent vegetarian french onion soup.

                                                                                  The food was fantastic and the staff are incredible, everyone is super friendly and helpful. They also recently updated their menu, very happy to see le casoulet on the list. Additionally, they continue to make phenomenal classics that they’ve had for a while, such as their foie gras and escargot. Highly recommend both and the restaurant overall!

                                                                                  The most romantic and intimate restaurant my partner and I have been to in a long time. Our service was excellent and they helped us pair our meals with a beautiful red wine. Our food was delicious and they surprised us with a glass of Armagnac at the end! We will definitely be coming back I’m so happy we found this gem of a place!
