                                                We enjoyed wonderful appetizers, a new salad, perfectly cooked Fresh halibut and pasta. La Posta is our favorite resto for a festive meal. It is totally reliable, innovative and friendly.

                                                I made a reservation over a month in advance to request indoor seating and confirmed it. Upon arrival they insisted that I was outside in a parking lot…. Zero ambiance and not dressed for sitting outside in foggy Sant Cruz. They were very glib about it and didn’t do anything to make up for it. They finally admitted their mistake when they brought the check. I was so disappointed ☹️

                                                The best Italian food in Santa Cruz bar none. Their homemade pastas, delicious pizzas and fresh produce amount to out-of-the-world meals. Also, the staff there is excellent and knowledgeable.

                                                We had not been to La Posta since the beginning of Covid over 4 years ago. We really enjoyed our night out, starting with a fantastic appetizer of blue cheese, velvety prosciutto served with puffed dough (hard to describe but delicious). I had Ravioli with fresh peas and grilled asparagus that tasted like spring itself. The other main courses (halibut and paprika pasta with clams) were similarly spot-on. We shared the coconut rice pudding with blueberries for dessert, simple but so well executed. Our waiter tryied to steer us into a pricier wine than we wanted, but we let him keep talking until he got down to the range that we wanted, and were very pleased with the selection.

                                                A great local spot for an impromptu dinner! The vibe is french bistro with Italian cuisine - it felt very open air. The scallops were amazing, with the passionfruit sauce adding such a wonderful brightness I didn't know I needed! It was the highlight of our meal! The pasta tasted freshly made. The servers were attentive.

                                                Great food and attentive service. Ordered two of the specials the Bolognese and also the lamb. Both were excellent and lamb was perfectly cooked. Can’t wait to come back!

                                                I adore La Posta! It's truly my favorite restaurant in the county. The food is amazing, fresh, innovative, delicious. This was only the second time my friend had been there, and she raved about everything! The scallops were exceptional, the pasta, scrumptious, the salad, perfection. And she rarely eats dessert but we both couldn't resist the remarkably semifreddo ( OMG, soooooo good). And I can't forget to mention that asparagus in a cheese sauce that had me practically drooling with delight. Yum. Just yum. And the service is always attentive and friendly and perfect...a phenomenal staff at a very special place.
