Join us for a private dining experience featuring some amazing Argentinian wines from Decero Winery and locally sourced food. Weather permitting we will be hosting an Asado, which is essentially a grill out, on the patio. Menu and pairings to come at a later date. Ticket prices will be $90 per person, this will include tax and gratuity. Seating will be limited and multiple parties may be seated together. A 72 hour notice will need to be provided for any cancellations. Refunds will be issued minus the processing fees.

Our night was overall very good. A couple of the options were a tad bit on the salty side. Didn’t ruin the overall experience. Will definitely go back.

Amazing experience as always! We had a bottle of wine -- love the half priced Mondays -- ceviche, mushroom quesadillas, goat cheese curds (a must), and a daily special. Crem brulee with toasted granola on top for dessert was awesome too. Service is always top notch.

Always pleased to dine at La Merenda. The new item on the menu, the char, was outstanding. All other menu items were very good - the patatas bravas, the shrimp & pork tostada, the Argentinian beef. The special was a bit on the salty side. Can't wait for nicer weather so we can enjoy the beautiful patio.

We've been here several times now, but tonight was another standout. All of the food was incredible, served at the right time and very hot. Drinks were outstanding as well. It blows me away that they can consistently serve such a variety of food at basically the same time, and with amazing quality. Can't wait to get back here again!

They never disappoint! Love the menu offerings…especially the beef empanadas and the special arancini balls with the smoked beef and tomato jam. We try to come back every few months to see what’s going to be on the menu and taste some of our favorites.

We absolutely love the variety of ethnic food choices. I’ve never had anything at La La Merenda that wasn’t fabulous and delicious. With all the options there is something for everyone. And it’s so much fun to share.

14 of us went for the Easter pop up brunch at Engine Company 3. Everything we ate was very good. Some of the standouts were the poutine, meat omelet, egg sandwich, and empanadas. Some of the group had french toast and said it was great. We really miss the brunch at Engine company, so this was a nice opportunity to have it again. Our server was attentive and the food came out quickly. Hope you do another one soon!

As always, the food and service was excellent! We tried the Gnocchi di Zucca for the first time and it was to die for. And we always have our favorite dish in MKE, the goat cheese curds. Service was friendly and timely. We appreciate that the dirty plates are cleared promptly which is especially Important to small plate dining, There was one glitch that I'll mention for training purposes for either our young waiter or the bartender . I tried ordering, first a Tanqueray martini, and when told it wasn't available, a Bombay martini which also wasn't available. After that I told him whatever you're pouring from the rail. On the check I noticed I was upcharged for a Rehorst VODKA martini, which the waiter promptly comped once I pointed that out.

Food was almost perfect as usual. Restaurant seemed louder than usual with not being full. Service was subpar last night. While food came out readily, dirty dishes were not removed in a timely fashion and it took after our third round of food to get new plates. Water bottles and drinks were never refilled, one person was asked about a second glass of wine but no one else. Four were drinking alcohol, one ice tea and two ordered mocktails. Just a weird experience when every o th er time we’ve been there it’s excellent.

The food was fantastic - everything we had was great! It was fun to try new things from around the globe that we had not had before. For this reason we are planning to go back. They pride themselves on buying local, which we loved. Thank you for supporting Wisconsin!! The staff were ok. They were not super engaging, but effectively got the job done. It was a little disappointing as usually dining for tapas is set up as an experience, including with the staff. The bar was a little goofy. They have plastic partitions up every 2 seats. I had called ahead to see if the bar was open for drinks prior to our reservation, or if it was for dining and was told it was 1st come 1st serve, which makes sense. It was full when we arrived so we sat off to the side with our drinks, which was fine. When spots at the bar were opening up, they were hesitant to have us sit if we weren't dining at the bar. I found this frustrating as I called ahead for this reason.

Our server was Sarah. She has been my server before; I like her very much, she is friendly, well spoken, very attentive and professional. Our tapas plates were, as always, so delicious, so satisfying, so fresh and innovative. A favorite restaurant for me.

Overrated. They’re trying to do good food from all different parts of the world, but they’re not doing any of them well. Drink menu was also terrible and servers weren’t very helpful.
