La Grenouille, maison chic et traditionnelle établie en 1962, propose une cuisine française classique dans un cadre élégant et intime. Les bouquets de fleurs incroyables et les délices culinaires du chef exécutif Richard Pommiès rendent hommage à l'héritage du propriétaire Philippe Masson. Un véritable paradis de merveilles au niveau visuel tout comme au niveau du goût, La Grenouille sert le dîner et le souper de mardi jusqu'à samedi. Une salle avec une grande cheminée et des fenêtres de toit en trois niveaux est disponible pour les fêtes privées. Au nouveau bar « Aviator » conçu par Philippe Masson, vous pouvez commander le dîner ou le souper à la carte. À l'étage, dans la salle Skylight de La Grenouille, il y a un bar dédié à Saint-Exupéry, qui y a écrit une partie du célèbre Le Petit Prince dans les années 1940.

From the beginning to the end of your dinner you have what you paid for; amazing food, top notch service from the server to the captain, a very romantic french vibe and a great jazz band led by Philippe. It’s my favorite restaurant of all time!

We were there for the pre-theater dinner. Service was attentive without ever becoming intrusive. The ambiance was ideal: warm dim lighting, bustle-ly but never loud. Our meal was fantastic (though I wouldn’t order the filet mignon again). I’m taking my daughter there again next week…

Stunning, as always. Dover sole was spectacular and continues to be our favorite dish. The mini cheese soufflé was delicious. For dessert we shared the trio of mini soufflés and felt that was the best choice - being able to taste three different ones felt decadent. We will go back… again and again.

The ambiance was warm and lushly romantic. The bartender expertly crafted a beverage to suit and was charming enough to make fine company as we waited briefly to be seated. The staff was in every respect sterling and attentive. I do wish they could find a cordless table lighting solution while retaining the charm of the current lamps. We enjoyed the cheese and chocolate soufflés most of all.

I was visiting my daughter from Louisville Ky. and had the most amazing meal, the three course, with the lamb. My daughter had the sole. The soufflés are absolutely the best!!! Julien and Nick took wonderful care of us. It had been several years since I’ve been to this enchanting restaurant, and it didn’t disappoint! The flowers are heavenly! Thank you for a memorable dining experience! Bon Appetit! 🤗

Food was very good traditional high French. Service extremely attentive, only complaint is the pacing between courses was too rushed. Beautiful room and interesting people watching. Price not cheap but this type of meal never is.

A wonderful, classic, fine dining experience. Beautiful decor with flowers on display everywhere. Couples are seated side, by side for quiet conversation and view of the room. Multiple delicious cocktail snacks including a small cheese souffle that was great.

La Grenouille continues to set the standard for excellent food, service and ambiance. The Dover sole is consistently the best anywhere in the world. The soufflé and floating islands are fabulous. If you’re looking a romantic atmosphere with outstanding food and service, this is the place to go. Fresh flowers are everywhere. They’re constantly beautiful.

Service was amazing! Food was delicious!! We ate upstairs. (Gorgeous floral arrangements and a beautiful, cozy, wood burning fireplace!). We then headed downstairs, sat by the bar, and enjoyed drinks and live singing and music. Fantastic night!! We will be back!!

The last of the great French restaurants left in New York. Service was outstanding as usual. Food sublime and beautifully served. Ambience dignified and classic. Nice to be dinning with people who appreciate good food and an establishment that knows how to care for its customers. A dying breed....Keep up the good work Team La Grenouille!

It’s clear the restaurant doesn’t need my business and that’s okay for me too as I won’t be returning. We arrived on time and then eg., “your table will be ready in 2min” (it was 2min 30min ago) eg., “your table is super private and VIP” (it was up 3 flights of stairs and in corner and servers didn’t give table attention) eg., “your food is coming” (the starter salad came after 1hr 10min) eg., “here are your two soufflés” (we ordered 3)… They took a few items off the check in the end and person taking care of the check was first and only person apologizing but it’s clear the restaurant doesn’t need my business (a 2 course prix fixe is 165 USD/pax btw). I learnt my lesson.
