The Grand Dining Room is open for lunch Monday - Friday from 11:30am-1:30pm.

La Gran Terraza is a California bistro featuring farm-to-table lunch and dinner. The Grand Dining Room and terrace have fantastic views of Tecolote Canyon and Mission Bay. OTooles offers small bites, nightly happy hour, a cozy fireplace, local craft beers and an excellent wine list.

We attended a Mother’s Day brunch. I have been to many other other functions here, and the food has always been very nice. Some of the food was OK, but two hours into the time they had been serving, a lot of it looked very tired when we arrived. They also seem to have a staffing shortage, since I understand they rely mostly on students and this is finals weekend. Tables were not getting cleared, water and coffee weren’t being served. We were dining with our daughter who is a student so we’re very happy for the experience, but it was definitely not as good as this restaurant usually is.

The portion size for the food were okay. Our waitress was not very attentive and honestly not friendly. She did not make me and my party feel welcome and seemed like she wanted avoid our table at all costs.

Lovely Brazilian 4 course meal. The food was simple yet delicious. Have gone here several times and are happy to return. Looking forward to trying their version of cioppino.
