Freaking Amazing for the price. 3 guys, a bottle of wine, appetizer, 4 entrees(including 2 of the Crab ravioli special with shrimp and scallops in a tomoato cream sauce), 2 desserts, and coffee. All for around $80 a person. Best Italian I've had for the money.

Adam our server was Awesome! The meal was wonderful and my friend got a piece of Tiramisu on the house for her Birthday! Long time since I had been to La Dolce Vita and everything was a good as ever!

This restaurant is always good. Specials can be pretty pricey. If you stick to the regular menu every thing is very tasty & reasonably priced. So delightful in the summer sitting outside in their charming patio. We’re never disappointed.🫠👍

The food is always amazing. Alfio is a gracious host and owner, always making you feel at home. A must if you are in LaJolla.

We were in the San Diego area for a wedding. Was in La Jolla and decided to give it a try. It was good, they had indoor and outdoor seating, food was very good and service was good. It was an enjoyable evening.

The food here is always very good and we enjoy eating here. The servers and everyone helping is super friendly and professional. The only aspect I don't appreciate is the fact they charge a 3% fee on the bill for using a credit card. That is the cost of doing a business as a business owner. I don't charge my clients an extra 3% to use a credit card. What makes people think this is acceptable in the world today when they obsorbed it before and weren't charging it?

The complimentary bread was very good. Pizza made perfectly, shrimp pasta was served hot and was delicious! Our servers were very nice and welcoming.

Great Italian restaurant at a reasonable price. The entire menu is excellent with lots of variations of a traditional fair. Light cooking with lots of flavors and great fresh ingredients.

Our favorite place in the greater San Diego area! Truly a hidden gem - never had a single menu item we haven't enjoyed and the service and hospitality is the best that we've ever experienced. We feel like family with the staff! Will always recommend Dolce Vita to everyone we know!

Sat out on the patio on a beautiful day. We shared the La Dolce Vita spinach strawberry salad, dressing was very good. We ordered two pasta dishes; and they were delicious. Mine was the pasta with Shrimp Salvatore and I loved it. Will definitely go again.

My wife and I went there for lunch and sat outside. Great atmosphere and food. The Caesar salad is realy, really good. Our son and daughter in law couldn't decide on a place for dinner that evening so we wound up going back to LA Dolce Vita for dinner. The food and service are awesome.

We were traveling out of town and found this gem. Will definitely come back. I would like to come back and try the pizza. I overheard the lady at the next table over stating that that was the best pizza she ever had and she lived in Naples. I enjoyed our food the whole area has a cool little vibe.

Overall the food was average and service was poor. The meal started off with myself being served a warm glass of bleach. After trying to find the restroom to rinse out my mouth the server notified her boss and her boss said they rinse their water bottles with bleach and that one wasn’t rinsed out very well. I am fine with the answer and how they handled the situation, but for her boss or a manager to not come out and apologize is just bad business. Yes, send the 20 year old to do your dirty business. I have always liked this establishment, but that was my last meal.
