We've dined here many times and have always had a wonderful experience. It's our place to celebrate milestones. We loved the new look. Very bright and beautiful. Waitstaff were outstanding, food was delicious. A great evening!

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw one of the most talked about brunch spots had reservations available. However once we sat down we quickly saw why they did. It was not listed anywhere on the site that it would be a limited menu, the server gave us a really hard time about ordering scrambled eggs instead of poached. I opted for water while my sister and my mom ate. My mom said the French toast was way too creamy. My sister said her salmon hash was pretty good. However she wanted poached eggs instead of scrambled. The waitress could have been more pleasant. Then to put the icing on the cake the valet helped themselves to my change.

Food was lacking. Small menu for Mother's Day. The food was clearly made ahead of time; overpoached eggs, not freshly made Hollaindaise sauce. Felt like we were at a banquet with poorly made food instead of a higher end restaurant. Definitely didn't feel like the food was worth the price.

I love this place. The food is always, always excellent. I’ve eaten there both breakfast and dinner time. My only complaint, is during the day when the sun is out there needs to be an option for shade or a curtain to block the window so the sun is not so blinding. Our Mother’s Day visit was wonderful, except for the blinding sun coming through the window.

Upon arrival to the establishment there is valet that cost $7 and they take both cash and card which is great. The walk up to the outdoor seating was beautiful. Where I was seated, the acoustics from the other party were so loud that I couldn’t hear my date who was seated across from me. The hostess was polite enough to give us a new table which I then noticed the live piano player. I ordered the escargot which was pleasant and it gave me high hopes for the rest of the meal but those hopes quickly crashed upon the arrival of my entree. I order the clams and linguine with white wine sauce. The care for the preparation of my meal was limited. I received the dish with about 2 tablespoons of this “white wine sauce” which unfortunately after my first bite was straight wine which was offensive to the palate. The noodles were bland clearly unsalted pasta water. The wait staff brought me more sauce which didn’t help. So I sent it back and requested it be removed. My partner got the seafood sinfonia and it was just okay the sauce appeared to be store bought with a minor added flair. The staff asked me if I wanted something else and I declined as my palate was harshly disturbed. I really had high hopes for this place after seeing multiple social media posts about this. No manager even came to the table to discuss my experience. Best of luck to those who visit this establishment, I hope that my experience was a one off. But at this time it is just an Instagram worthy spot.

There is a clearly a lot of new staff. They tried hard but they need more practice to get their timing down (main course arrived within minutes of the salads arriving, appetizer arrived after salad course, etc.). The owner was jumping in to help and did a great job but the kitchen staff needs some more seasoning. Speaking of seasoning, the chef needs to use a little more salt or some other seasoning. The calamari was bland and I ate chicken marsala which was cooked well but needed salt or something. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Detroit and we love supporting the local area (this is not a downtown restaurant but a neighborhood affair). The remodel is nice. We ate in the backroom. The decor was nicely done but there were a lot large parties and difficult to hear. We'll be back.

The four of us throughly enjoyed our brunch. The service was great and the food was delicious. Want to go back on a nicer day and experience the patio.

Nicky our waiter was very charming and had a very warm personality. Our food and cocktails were amazing. Our overall experience was delightful! We will definitely be coming back.

The reason I didn’t give a 5 overall was service. Waiter very friendly, but we had to ask for most everything ie: utensils etc.
