The happy hour was SO fun!!! Our waiter was so nice and the food and drinks were amazing. The pitcher of spicy margs was perfect for 5 people, and we had a blast. Thanks so much!

Server was not attentive and got our drinks wrong. Dismissed us bc he was busy. Also took 20+ minutes for drinks. Appetizer came out after food. Not good experience.

They seemed to be out of several items on small brunch menu, and couldn’t accommodate some changes to meals (like eggs whites instead of the full egg) which was strange. The biggest bummer was that the mimosa bottle was $46, and when it came out it was a screw top bottle of J Roget, which is typically sold for $8 in stores. I understand an upcharge of double the price on alcohol is typical, but 6x the price for a bottom shelf brand that was pretty nasty was just a disappointment. Otherwise, the food was really delicious.

La Condesa is my favorite spot in downtown Austin for happy hour + margaritas! We always order the quesadilla w/ short rib and queso w/ short rib, and finish w/ the churros or tres leches cake.

Our party of eight was easily accommodated at 6 pm. The server was knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered a variety of delicious food to share. We had a great time.

The queso flameado with short rib topping was amazing as was the tuna tartare. Both were “snacks” at brunch. We were disappointed in the huevos rancheros as they were greasy and strangely served in a bowl so that I couldn’t taste the eggs, and covered inches deep in a sauce. The stoneware bowl mine was served in had two obvious chips, which kind of shocked me at such an upscale location. Very attentive service. My daughter enjoyed her carnitas dish and I do say the warm corn tortillas were spot on.

Liked the guacamole rendition and the inventive dishes but did not think it was good value. We were seated luckily outside which made the ambiance less noisy.

Food was top notch despite being a little pricey , I would go back! 130 without tip for 2 people. when they drop your food mich care is given to explain it to you which was pretty meat.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They helped us get our toddler settled, entertained and most importantly fed. The space is really nice and bright. The drinks and food were delicious all around. I would definitely recommend!

Overall okay experience. Although the restaurant markets itself as authentic Mexican, it wasn’t. The mimosas were overpriced. The food was more like a watered down interpretation of Mexican food. It was edible and tasted okay. You’re better off going to Taco Bell.

Overall experience was excellent at La Condesa with amazing entrees and desert - all organic and locally ingredients. The agua Fresca was also sweet and refreshing! Will definitely be back.

Disappointing compared to ratings. Entree portions small especially for the $$$ price. Served on salad size plates vs. dinner plates. Taste and quality ok but not remarkable.

this place is a true favorite. the food is delicious and service is ALWAYS fantastic. Tonight it was Ellie and Ino making everything perfect. The margaritas too are some of the best tasting in town because they are made with fresh ingredients. We love the different crudo dishes. Once again thank you to the staff who do such a great job/top notch service// *I was also here for a sxsw edu event in their 'cave' room. I didn't get the name of the server(s), but they really made the dinner enjoyable. Thank you to also to the kitchen and bartenders. Truly excellent!

Our first time to dine at La Condesa but it certainly won't be our last. We dined al fresco and really enjoyed the people watching (we are in the middle of SXSW). The food was excellent as was the service.

Great place for during SXSW an easy walk from the action. nice to sit relax and meeting fellow speakers. The food was super yummy. Service was OK and it was very loud so hard to have a good conversation.

We sat outside with a big group. The street corner was delicious, highly recommend! The short rib queso was a favorite and the guacamole was very fresh. I had the tuna which was dreamy. Our server was lovely and accommodating for our large party.

The ceviche dish was labeled GF but was served with saltine (wheat) crackers. They offered to bring corn tortillas as a substitute when I questioned them, and then they charged $6 for them at the end.

Phenomenal food! Highly recommend the Queso Flameado. Carnitas were tasty, Hongos (mushrooms) were good but not the most memorable, enmoladas were awesome with the pickled onions! Drinks were decent, recommend trying their seasonal flavors when you can.
