Looking for a traditional NYC Italian Restaurant? La Bella Vita does not disappoint. Located in the heart of Little Italy on Mulberry, it might take a moment to locate the Restaurant. Like many places on Mulberry, the parking along the curb adds additional seats for folks wanting to eat outside. My wife ordered the Seafood Pasta Diavolo and I chose the Chicken Picata. The seafood was good, but a little over the top with the shells that was more about presentation than substance. The pasta and spices were great, low to medium heat on the Scoville scale. This dish looks too much, a lot going on, but definately is well prepared. I ordered Chicken Picata . La Bella Vita's Picata dishes rates up there with the best Italian food restaurants I've visited over the years. The lemon butter sauce was not too tart as you will get at some places that add the lemon juice in too early. I wish I could have tried more dishes, but I was in NYC for only a short time. If I'm back in Manhattan, I will revisit La Bella Vita. It seems it is still turning out authentic Italian dishes.

I had high hopes for this restaurant because of the google reviews. The service wasn’t great. We waited a while for for someone to take our orders and a while for our waiter to bring our check. The food was bland and didn’t taste homemade. A few of our dishes were also cold.

Food was absolutely delicious! Best alfredo I have ever had , the chicken francese was also absolutely delicious…everything we ordered was sooo good! Service was exceptional and we were sat right away. Highly recommend , we will definitely be back!

Terrific lunch at La Bella Vita. The space is so warm and charming. Delicious salad, homemade gnocchi and tiramisu. My server Renaldo was outstanding and the prices were most reasonable. An excellent dining option in Little Italy.

Food was delicious! My mom and I were greeted warmly and Ronaldo was our server. He was very attentive to our needs. I got the carbonara with chicken and it was wonderful. I will definitely be back again.
