Kyoto Palace Restaurant offers a decent dining experience. While it doesn't particularly stand out, it delivers okay food and service. The ambiance is pleasant, but it lacks that special something to make it truly memorable. Overall, it's a satisfactory option for Japanese cuisine, but don't expect to be wowed.

Service by the waitress could have been better. They were busy for sure but we weren’t asking for difficult requests. One of the requests was asking what kind of vodka besides the well option. She said she’d figure out but never came back. The martini was brought out with the rest of the drinks and made exactly how we requested it wasn’t made. I also requested if she can ask the kitchen for clarification on a food item. She was all maybe, yes, then no. Hibachi chef was hilarious and funny though.

I didn’t realize Kyoto no longer is open before 1pm. I made reservations for our Anniversary lunch and it was perfect. We had out own chef for just the two of us and he cooked everything to perfection! I have been here many times but this time was the most memorable. Book your reservation right when they open at 1pm soon to get a more intimate experience! Do it before the word gets out and it will be crowded like usual.

Food was good. The chef did a great job keeping us engaged. However, if you expect to have conversations you’d be disappointed because it is very noisy.

Variety of food choices is terrific and the full course meals are great. The filet and scallops are my favorite.

Excellent food, as always. One appetizer was forgotten and was provided for free. Very noisy, so be expecting that. Great place to celebrate a birthday and other special events. Server was very friendly.

This place is very consistent, always good food, nice people at the tables, and entertaining chefs. The price has increased but we think it's worth it for the total dining experience. And for birthdays you can't go wrong here as they will sing happy birthday and give you a piece of birthday cake on the house.
