Overall a very unsatisfying dinner. The server was very unfriendly and seemed like we were bothering them with our questions. We had to ask for silverware and plates to eat from. Two appetizers, one sushi roll and two cocktails was 150.00. Unbelievable prices for the quality of food and service..

Crispy rice sushi had a bad oily taste. Waiter was impervious to our comment. Miso cod was too salty, no comparison to Nobu’s. Clean and impressive ambiance except noisy. Why is there so loud music everywhere you go? Overall average.

Our food was fantastic. We ordered the Peach Bliss and Beso de Japon, and they were very refreshing. We started with the spicy tuna crispy rice. Rice had a really nice texture, and the tuna wasn’t too spicy without the Serrano slice on top. I like spicy though, so I recommend eating the Serranos. For dinner, we had the shogun and rainbow rolls. The fish was very high quality atop the rainbow roll, and the shogun was super flavorful. We came here on our honeymoon, and Kumi made it so special!! They were able to sit us in the tree-like atrium in the back, which was very romantic. I wish I remembered our waiter’s name because he deserves all the praise. He brought us complementary champaign with dinner and complementary dessert after dinner. On our way out, we were exploring the restaurant, and he took our picture in front of a gorgeous bonsai tree! The Kumi team really went above and beyond for us.

Food is decent. Sashimi was fresh and had good texture. Sushi rolls were ok - good size. Served was not too attentive. Chopsticks were not usable due to their shape.

The restaurant is busy and it very noisy so you cannot have a conversation with the family. I reserved a table for 5 and was given a booth. I saw a round table with 5 or 6 seatings and it was empty and was told it is for a reservation. Well, when we are done a couple hours later. The table is still empty!! Food is average for the price you pay for it.
