The place is very loud, I mean above what’s enjoyable. The waitress seemed excellent at first, took our order without writing it down which was impressive. However that’s where being impressed ended. Appetizer set down long before plates and silverware came out. My steak was ordered medium rare and came out medium well. She never came and asked if everything was ok or I would have told her. Figured I’d better eat my $60 ruined steak. Our waters never got refilled and mine was empty during the appetizer. Overall it was a disappointment and we won’t be back.

I went for brunch and had their steak plate. Everything that came out with the entrée was staggered. So I ate my steak before I got my bacon and asparagus. Steak was small but good. Overly expensive for what me and my partner had. I'll stick to happy hours

The food was average nothing spectacular but the prices were exorbitant. For 2 people our bill was 160.00. That was for 1 appetizer, 2 cocktails and 2 dinners. Rather spend $160 at Signature for an extraordinary meal

This was a strange experience. We hosted a business lunch with 5 people, they sat us at a table for 4 people and just pulled up a chair on the end of the table. It was the middle of the day and plenty of open tables around. Then they brought two peoples sushi rolls on the same plate because they were short on sushi plates- who seriously would do that. We were on opposite ends of the table and no way it was okay to expect us to share a plate with a colleague. Just overall a weird, lackluster experience.

Me and my best friend went there for Valentines Day, the service was amazing and the food was incredible. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an energetic and fun environment.

The steak was over cooked and dry. The service could have been better. The food took longer to be served. Could tell the food was not hot it was warm like it has been left under a headlamp.

For a valentines dinner it was tough to communicate with the music so loud. Prices were inflated I think for the day. Service was great and very kind.

The place is lovely; however the tuna was sort of tasteless, The fish for the fish and chips was tough, my husband needed a knife to cut it and it was hard to believe it was once cod. My salad was tasty but not really chopped. Maybe because it was Valentines day they were extra busy but I will never go here again nor refer it to anyone.

Terrible Valentine’s Day dinner at Kona. The music is blasting as if you’re at a club. Having to yell to talk to your dinner companions is ridiculous in a restaurant. The kitchen was disorganized and servers kept bringing the wrong food to our table. One person was served their plate and the rest of us waited another 30 minutes before we received our food. And the food itself…this place has no identity. Random food on the menu and none of it cooked well at all. Will not return, EVER

We went on Valentine’s Day ( night ) it was nice but not romantic as we were seated in the middle of two tables that were very close to one another. I was disappointed that I couldn’t order my usual sushi roll as they had a limited menu that night. I also ordered a side of garlic bread that didn’t come out til way after our Meals. Have to say it wasn’t as great as the other times we’ve gone for our date nights. Oh well….

The sides and appetizer were really good. It was Valentines day and we asked for a Wagyu upgrade. I don't believe what we got was Wagyu. It was tough as shoe leather. The menu looked good and there are other things maybe worth trying, but steaks, not so much.

Food was great, as usual. The only problem I had was that we had numerous different wait staff and managers checking on us every 5 minutes. In a matter of an hour and fifteen minutes we were checked on 13 times. That’s a little too much for my liking.

I had a to go order. The restaurant doesn’t have to go parking or car deliver service and is located in a very busy mall. 20 minutes to find a parking spot on the other side of the mall😕

Our server was excellent. I recall the portions being larger but I understand everything is more expensive now. Food overall was great. The bottled sodas are $9.00 but they are better than the lack luster lemonade and tea. Overall nice dinner with my husband and daughter.

We were looking forward to enjoying restaurant week menu however when we arrived we were told it may not be offered. After awhile, they told us that it was offered but the menu was different from what was shown online. We wound up ordering off the regular brunch menu. We ordered a starter and it arrived at the same time as our entrees which took almost 40 minutes to arrive - and the restaurant was not full. Mind you this was at 10 am on a Saturday . Next our food was cold. Not even room temperature but cold… it was disappointing because we just moved to the area and wanted to check out their happy hour… maybe not.

Our reservation was at 7pm, we arrived early and we seated 15 mins before our reservation which was nice. Apparently there was a table next to us that was occupied by employees of the restaurant but were not working. They apparently were ordering food and using our table number and there food order was going on our tab. We only found that out because both tables ordered a salmon plate and we got their order instead of ours. Also their steaks are baked, not cooked on a grill. So if we weren't paying attention to our bill we may have bought our food and theirs. Not good.

It’s Kona. The it’s a little pricey for the value. We went for restaurant week so value was great. If you want something higher end just go higher end. Kona is a cool spot if you are looking for something trendy. But remember it’s not high end. Just high priced. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good. Drinks were cold. But the mark up is a little high compared to what you should expect.

Waiter was not attentive at all and there were gnats flying all around the table. We didn’t receive any refills on drinks and we had to cancel apps because they never arrived

The starters and food and drinks are overpriced in my opinion. I’d only go here to order the sushi and even then their rolls are priced pretty high. We had a run in with my burger being delivered on a dirty plate, we mentioned it and unfortunately for our server the kitchen staff didn’t want to remake the food. They said the red sticky remnants of some previous food stuck on my plate was from some raspberry topping from a came after being asked to remake the food the serve says the kitchens stated it was from the burger. It didn’t make sense because the substance was stuck on the plate, it wasn’t a liquid as if they just cooked a fresh burger patty. Even if it was raspberry topping for cake they served fresh food on a plate that was used for something else. The experience was eye opening. Not sure that anyone else’s experience will be the same.

Food was great! Happy Hour value was on point! My only concern was we got little involvement from our server, I had to use the call button every time we needed something. We will be return as it was a good experience!

This used to be a restaurant we frequented very often, but after a few bad experiences ( no steaks available, no ice that day, etc) we stayed away for a while. Although the food and service were there, the prices have certainly gone up significantly. For what we paid, (1 beer, big island ribeye, a side and a water, salad/sushi combo ) i just don’t know if the value is there for us.

The bathrooms were gross, the food took a long time to prepare and the place was dingy, but you did play The Weeknd playlist for the majority of my time in the restaurant which was a plus. Won’t eat there again.

Our server was wonderful, but we made reservations for 5 two weeks ago and they crammed us into a booth for 4, saying they had given away our table by mistake. It was either cram together or wait an hour or longer. We spent $350 to be pretty uncomfortable
