We eat at fancy restaurants all the time. This was our first time at Kona Grill. Price was not really high but the meat and shrimps were tasteless.

Had reservations, still had to wait over 20 minutes. Appetizers were above average, steak was tough, sea bass was very tiny portion. Only positive was the waiter was very nice. The rest of staff seemed overwhelmed.

Kona Grill is way overpriced! We ordered the burger, ribs, and two different types of steak. The steaks were not cooked right and completely flavorless. Even my 20 year old who eats everything and anything took two bites and said he would just take it home and add flavor to it later. The ribs were ok at best and $20 for the burger we got!! Besides that, the table next to us was loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear their conversation and the waitress only encouraged it. Not a chance we will ever return to this place!

Took 50 minutes after we ordered drinks to get them. Several issues with the entrees coming out wrong. It's a nice concept, great location but we wont be going back.

My husband and I both ordered Chilean sea bass which was served to us cold and raw in the middle. The manger did apologize and said he alerted the cook, but nothing else was done. It would have been nice to have been offered a free dessert or to have one of our appetizers taken off. Especially after both my husband and I had eaten some of the undercooked sea bass.

I made the reservation three days ago for my kids and I for a Mother’s Day experience. It took us 20 minutes to get drinks so when I mean drinks, I mean water and soda. 45 minutes goes by. I ask about my meal by a manager oh, I’ll get back to you. 10 minutes goes by a waiter goes by I ask is there anyway you can check on my order? The same manager comes by five minutes later and I said sir have you heard anything about my meal? Oh I don’t know. I’ll check and I was like, sir you told me 10 minutes ago you were gonna check. I said I’ve been noticing how you just walking around the restaurant you’re not doing anything to help your employees, I didn’t like it so there was also the bathrooms were disgusting toilet paper there was toilet paper. It was so disgustingly dirty in there you can tell it’s been hours since that bathrooms been cleaned. There was waiter staff or I’m sorry waitress look like she was strung out on drugs, spiky blonde hair very nasty and lethargic would not recommend this place ever

Limited servers, long wait for food, overpriced entrees, just not a good experience. Kona Grill is on the decline.

Terrible Mother’s Day for my wife. Had to leave due to the waiting 30 min for a water. Kona has changed significantly. I will not be going back. Mexican bar company treated us way better.

We were there to lunch during mother day, even water and wine took a while to be delivered to our table. The menu prices were high so we were expecting high service... it was a mistake.

Came for Mother’s Day but now I know why it was easy to get reservations bc this place sucks!! Food came out cold and half the food didn’t even come out!! Food was disgusting took forever to get any service !! They brought out apps with the entrees this place needs serious help not sure how long they will be in business.. just don’t bother we live in the DFW there are so many other places to choose from!!
