All frozen food and kitchen workers were probably gardeners before. They have no idea how to cook. Disappointing!

We were there celebrating a special birthday had 6 people and the bill was large. Was surprised we were not offered a free dessert. Also don’t like that you have to pay with a computer at the table confusing for older people

Food was mediocre and ridiculously expensive. The shrimp tacos had 2-3 small shrimp and were made up entirely of salad mix.

Service was not very good, we waited 20 minutes to order drinks, took 45 minutes for appetizers to come out. We had to send back the appetizer plates 3 times because they were dirty.

Kona is a little expensive but we like the food. Not sure the New York Strip was worth the $43, but everything else was good. Morgan was a nice server.

We had a great waiter and friendly service. We ordered Las Vegas rolls and split the macadamia nut chicken. Some of the Las Vegas rolls were very cold in the middle, but the chicken was great. There were a lot of people but there wasn't a wait and it was quiet.

The service was great! Ordered Miso soup and had to clarify with the waiter as the cost of the bowl was 13.00! We thought it was a typo.’ It came out and was too salty so we ended up not even eating it . Other than the soup the food was good but overall prices are outrageous.

I have never complained about food at a restaurant and I couldn’t bring myself to do so. In retrospect, I realize it would have been more helpful to just feel bad about speaking up, because the steaks were inedible. Bite after bite, we each had to spit the gristle out. I’m not even talking about fat or even one or two bites of gristle. Just bite after bite of hard, impossible to chew gristle. Our waiter wanted to know if we wanted to go boxes because we had so much left. It was so unpleasant, I don’t know if I’ll want steak again for a very long time. Maybe this is just not the place for steak! The Brussels sprouts were quite good.

This was a Valentine's Day visit, so please take it for what it is worth. I called the restaurant and asked if they were running a special menu or their regular menu for Valentines Day. I was told the regular menu. When I got there it was a shortened regular menu with a special menu. There were sufficient items on the menu for me and my family. There were six of us. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. We ordered. I got a White Old Fashion, which I got mid meal about 30 min later, but it was fantastic. I would have gotten another one or maybe too, but it took so long to get, I didn't think it would make it by the completion of the meal. The music was loud, My daughter chose this restaurant as she said it was where her and her friends go after she got off work at the steakhouse next door. She said this was normal, and it always is loud, and it did create a good environment. The server was attentive, her section was too big, she was nice. I'm sure that having that big of a section was tough. Food was delivered in pieces, not everyone got their items as the same time. Everyone agreed that the food was "OK", but we also all agreed it was cold. My green beans were almost refrigerator cold, not room temp. My Med Rare steak was well done and half of it was burnt. I ate it, I was starving. We did let the server know they were responsive and offered to make us something else, and we passed as we did eat a good portion of our dishes. Maybe this restaurant is better on normal days. Maybe it's not. I won't go back to find out. I was shocked they had so many available reservations on a busy holiday when I booked the reservation. It isn't to execute well these days with staffing, but for the price point you can go somewhere where there is a better focus on the details.

Steaks were cooked and consistently. My husband and I ordered the same thing and one came out hard as a rock and the other one was bloody. We notified the manager and he just apologized and did nothing else. The quality of the food was comparable to Applebee’s, but the prices were reflective of quality steakhouse

No impressed … Our waiter up sold my 10-year-old on an entire second entrée without asking if it was OK before putting in the order and when I tried to change it, he told me it was too late that he already put it in. The bill for dinner for me, and my two children with astronomical. Completely unnecessary.

Pricy but very very good. We had the meatballs, a California and Vegas Roll, fish and chips and the stir fry and all of it was very delicious, especially the meatballs!

Overall good food and good service. Main downfall is cost. $25 for a burger and fries or $25 for Poke Salad is way overpriced for portion size.

Great food options. Everything was delicious! Need more stable booth seat backs though: Sat in small booth with another couple in booth behind us and unfortunately I could feel the seat back bounce throughout our meal as the other person was simply talking and gesturing.

I ordered a poke bowl and normally they come in a bowl that's like 7 in across and 4 in deep and this came in a 4-in wide 2 in deep bowl and I was still hungry. The waitress was slow and distracted and didn't keep her drinks filled shrimp tacos were great. It just seems like this place is coasting.

We love Kona - one of our favorites. This time we went on New Year's Day so I'm guessing that is why the food was not very good and the service slow. Hopefully Kona will be back to their usual greatness the next time we are there.

A below average sushi roll should not be almost $30 Which was one the cheapest things to choose from On the menu. It took about 30 mins to get our first round of drinks and almost an hour before we got our food. Our server did her best to get things to us but even her service couldn’t make up for the high cost, sub par food and the hour long wait. We will not be back.

It had been a while since our last visit to Kona. The updates to the menu with the price changes makes it difficult to find a balance with quality and value. Kona was never considered a high-end restaurant. Why are the rolls $20 and up?

It was a busy night, but service and food were great. They were very accommodating as I asked to order something that was not on the menu. Also convenient tablets at the table, made for a quick check out. I would definitely eat here again.

The ambiance and customer service was very great whether it was on the phone or being welcomed in. Staff was able to accommodate my large party, providing the private dining room without my having to ask which I appreciated. There were a couple of messed up orders, I don’t think the waitress listened attentively when taking those orders. The 2 young ladies seemed a bit timid or potentially new to the restaurant when serving us. Just for my personal taste I think I’ve had better flavors in other restaurants especially considering the price. I would recommended either adjusting the menu or lowering the price. I can’t say that I will return based on lack of enjoyment of the meal but otherwise a nice place.

It was Christmas day so we were grateful to have someone else cook but $22 for 8 pieces of spicy tuna, and $14 for edamame was ridiculously high and cold steak for dinner was a bit off putting. The servers were terrific and the drinks were great!

We went there for our annual Christmas Day meal. Because of weather this year, it was very quiet and sparse when we were there. The food and service was top notch. The Ribeye Meatball starter is not to be missed.

This is the first review I’ve ever left for a restaurant We have visited Kona Grill for many years. Our last two experiences with Kona has been awful. Our waiter did not check on us once, we had to ask other waiters for silverware and our missing drink. I would suggest to stay away from the ribeye as it came out dry, and no taste.
