                                      Bathrooms dirty which was surprising given location in NorthPark Mall. Steak was raw but guest did not speak up. Specials were not explained. Avocado egg rolls and tuna tartar were good. All in all, we won’t be going back

                                      Horrible experience tonight. Our server was sweet & did alright. But we came at an off time a 4pm reservation. We got our first round of drinks at 4:30 probably. Our party of 9 had our food come out about 10-15 min apart from the first persons entree to the last. The last two entrees brought to the table were wrong & it took several minutes to remedy. I went & asked for the manager & all we got were thoughtless apologies & complimentary dessert. Which we declined because we didn't want to be there any longer. The woman's restroom was disgusting, I let the manager know. Doubtful he did anything about it by his reaction to our concerns at the table. Our server could have been more attentive to our table but at the end of the day most of the issues were out of her control. This Kona is located in a mall that has people spending millions of dollars a year, they need to step it up. I have been going there for over 15 years but unfortunately after this last visit it will be my last. Hopefully they turn it around.

                                      Let me start by saying done go to this restaurant ever!! I made a reservation for my birthday with my best friend and daughter. When we sat down we were greeted by a server who was definitely under the influence. We asked to Speak to a manager because my best friend has a severe gluten allergy!!! He walked us through the menu. Server came back took our order. Brought my drink no one else’s. Our salads were brought wrong dressing. She came to the table with soy sauce that was not gluten free which could have really killed my friend. After asking about the rest of our drinks we watched her chat with her friends at the bar. After about an hour passed she came back to tell us they had zero steak that we ordered for dinner. We asked to speak to the manager again. We told him our concerns including not having drinks still. He suggested we pay for our salads. Funny thing here come the steaks that were not ordered how we even ordered them. Big surprise right!!!At this point we became furious and left. Do not go here! The service and management are terrible

                                      The only thing I didn't like was that one of the waitresses shouted to talk when a customer she knew arrived. She also laughed very loudly and talked loudly with the bartender. They brought their local joke, but those of us who are going to dinner are not interested in their talks, we are going to enjoy the restaurant.

                                      The service was good, but the food quality was poor and the food was overpriced. $14 for a plain side salad, $9 for 3 small microwaved pancakes, almost $10 for brunch mimosas that are usually $3 (but not for Mother’s Day), $21 for 2 eggs, 2 small sausage patties, 3 strips of bacon, small portion of breakfast potatoes, and a hard English muffin. I will not return to this location for brunch.

                                      My daughter had surf and turf. The steak was cooked well over medium well and she said the shrimp was refrigerator cold. Calamari was OK at best.
