    We went on a fairly busy day so i don’t mind the wait, we were seated pretty quickly but it took us an hour and 15 minutes to even get our starter salads. they were efficient with the drinks and our waitress was wonderful about it all but the service and food was not worth the $225

    Cold soup, lukewarm food, and very slow service in a half-empty restaurant (Mother's Day dinner time). Poor management, ignoring waiting customer at front desk; and food was just OK, unimpressive. Do you think the customers should have to ask for knives and forks, even a lousy napkin? No water offered, and of course no bread. Place needs complete overhaul from management on down. Weak overall.

    The atmosphere is very nice. The food is good to fair. The value for the money is a bit less than desired, depending on what you order. The server seemed very distracted and inexperienced in describing what came in a dish.

    We had to wait 1 hour after our reservation time to be seated. The Hostess upstairs seemed very angry to be working that day. Our waiter seemed like it was his first day on the job. On another note, the food was very good.

    Our Mother's Day experience was phenomenal from the greeting at the host stand to our server, bartender, manager, food, and atmosphere. The host greeted us and let us know it would be a little bit because the kitchen was running behind and they needed to slow down the seating. We sat at the sushi bar counter and ordered some drinks from the bar while we waited. The manager even came around with a free mimosa for the moms. We got free roses at the host stand too. The host accommodated our request for a booth upstairs and outside. The table was perfect because it was a beautiful day outside. Our server told us it was her first day, but you could not tell. She was extremely friendly, and efficient, and got our orders 100% correct. Auggie, the upstairs bartender remembered my boyfriend and me from when we came in for happy hour a few weeks ago. He greeted us and made us feel special. He even brought our daughter a pair of Kona sunglasses and chapstick. The drinks and food were superb and came out quickly. We were surprised because we did not have to wait long for our food on the busiest restaurant day of the year. We came here last year for Mother's Day and had a wonderful time too. This will probably be an annual tradition for Mother's Day from here on out because our experiences are always top-notch. The manager even stopped by to check on us while we were eating. Our server was excellent and should quickly be promoted for how great she did on her first day and it being Mother's Day. She never appeared stressed or overwhelmed and kept up with all our needs. Auggie, the bartender is AMAZING and should definitely be promoted to Lead bartender as well. He is very friendly and attentive, much more so than the bartender's downstairs. He even remembered our names. We will definitely be back often to sit upstairs at Auggie's bar for Happy Hour date nights! Thanks to everyone involved in making such a great experience for us on Mother's Day!

    We did not end up dining at Kona Grill. We left and ate at the bar at Firebirds. People with reservations 1-1/2 hour ahead of us at Kona in both tables next to ours were still waiting on their food at 3:00 when we arrived. The waitress was honest when asked - telling us our wait time would be extensive to get our food. They were unprepared. There were loads of employees but something was seriously wrong!!     We booked for Mother’s Day at 2. I asked for standard seating downstairs and we got outside seating upstairs in the sun, no shade. We had to wait for more than 30 minutes past our reservation time. The food service was terrible. We were there for over 2 hours. However, our waiter Nathan was pretty good. He helped us get an umbrella to the table, every request was answered as quickly as possible. The food was also tasty.

    We were there for Mothers Day and they were totally overwhelmed. Got there at 1:30 and food came out at 3:30pm. Drinks were great and came out promptly ... servers were amazing and very apologetic. We had no where to go and have grown kids - so it was fine - but they need to figure out how to handle a large crowd on special events.

    We never got our food, we ended up waiting over 2 hours and eventually left. Absolutely ridiculous. We won’t be coming back and will tell people not to come here.

    This was a nightmare of a Mother's Day lunch. I had made the reservation for 10 people at 1:30 a few weeks ago. Wh. en I arrived at the restaurant at about 1:15, they informed me at the host stand that they still had a few large parties with earlier reservations waiting to be seated, so estimated we would be seated at about 2:00. Right around 2:00 they informed me that our table was ready, then took us back to a table for 8 people. They had stuck a chair at one end to make room for a 9th person, then crammed 5 places settings onto the side with the booth to "fit" us all in. I asked if there were any other tables available that were truly made for a party of 10. One worker, who I think was a manager, went upstairs to look, but then came back down and said we were out of luck. 30 minutes after we were seated, we were finally brought our drink order. The waitress, who was very nice and did as well as she could have, took our food orders. About 20 minutes later, she came back to the table and told us the kitchen was way backed up, and it would be another hour before our food was ready. At that point, we told her to cancel our order--that we were supposed to be there for lunch, not dinner. The only two things that were positive about our experience were our waitress, who did as well as she could have under the circumstances, and the fact that they offered to pay for the drinks we had had during the hour we were seated at our too small table. The restaurant was very nice in appearance, so we are very disappointed that it is a place we will never go to again due to the horrible, inexcusable service.

    Our waitress was so nice however it went downhill from there. It was Mother’s Day and we came here to celebrate. Food was so long of a wait the manager even tried to say it’s coming… we had seen multiple tables get their food before us. Our waitress was trying but the kitchen messed up food and then was cold when it came out. Second attempt also not correct… just rough time.

    I realize they were very busy but to take over an hour to get one appetizer that was ordered, then half of our parties food came out 10 min before the other half of our party, with one persons meal still taking another 5 min before coming out. No explanation, no sorry about delay or any comment. Understand we were not in any hurry but that long of wait and staggering getting food out. Food was very good and sitting on patio was a beautiful day.

    Unfortunate series of events, we will not be back. From our reservation time to having food was ~1 hour and 20 minutes. The music was loud, obnoxious, and inappropriate, especially for mothers' day. Our particular waitress was very slow. The menu was different than shown on their website. We were sat outside where the table and seat cushions were scalding hot from the mid-day sun. Worst of all is after all of that the food was horrible. My kids liked their chick tenders and sliders but otherwise the food was not great. It seemed like they just were not prepared for the volume, and I've heard their normal menu is great, so maybe they should abandon the brunch. We got sloppy wet eggs and bacon burnt so bad it was unedible. 0/5 stars.

    Very disappointed. Menu not as advertised on FB. Only 2 choices for my gluten free Mother in law-- Cobb salad or ednames. I was embarrassed. She was a good sport, but the service was extremely slow and waitress was indifferent and not seen often. We've eaten here many times and have been happy, but this time not so much. We won't be back. Too many other choices to dine in West Chester.

    What’s the point in making reservations if the restaurant is clueless to the accommodations? The good = excellent music/playlist, ambiance and rooftop/outdoor seating was great! The bad = poor service, very few drink refills and the food/dessert took FOREVER to arrive. The ugly = below average taste of food, WAAYYYYY too high priced for the low quality of food.

    Kona has always been a great restaurant that we have enjoyed frequently. But this day we tried their Brunch for Mother's Day at 10:15 AM and it was very disappointing. The waitress didn't understand what their menu items were even though there was a list of all that was on each "BRUNCH" entree? We got about half of our meal that was listed but after 10 or 15 minutes she was able to bring the rest which of our course which left other first items cold on the table? We had to ask multiple times for corrections, and quite frankly the meal was very poor! Maybe they should stick to lunch and dinner and not try the Brunch because clearly their staff didn't understand what it was or what a quality brunch should be.

    I requested downstairs because of wheel chair access We got upstairs outside It was cold and windy, no heaters available We were told we could not move Then we went in and asked again and were put inside up stairs under the loud speakers

    The server felt like he just started had a bottle of wine and had to ask him to open it. That’s a first did not know I had to bring my own wine opener. Had apps and had to ask for extra plates. Bill came had no pen I was like is this really for real. If you are going to be in the floor taking care of people please make sure you can handle it.

    This is the worst restaurant I've ever been in. The waitress would not bring drinks from the bar after ordering them. Saying the bar was backed up. After waiting 30+ minutes for a beer, we just walked up to the bar and the transaction took less than 30 seconds. (All 3 times we did it)For a 6:30 reservation we were finally seated at 7:30.... Outside, next to a love rock band. The waitress would not even refill water or lemonade, but the bar will.From the hostess, to the waitress, to the manager. This restaurant is terrible. Hopefully this review will help somebody not have an awful birthday dinner like we did.

    Service was excellent! However, prices just seem to keep going up and my salad was almost all lettuce with very little of the egg, cheese, bacon and avocado they advertise. I ordered a chopped salad.. not a head of lettuce.

    The food took close if not over an hour to come out after ordering. Nothing fancy at that. The shrimp tacos had more popcorn shrimp size and the portions were not enough for a child. Service was horrible! Not attentive and not accommodating. Sad to have spent my son’s senior prom dinner with his friends here.

    We used to go to Kona quite often and quite liked it; it's been about 3 years since our last visit. While the food itself was still good, the experience was filled with multiple issues. The event was a family dinner for my daughter with my husband and 3 kids (15, 12, 10). We were seated at a table in full sun, no shades...we ended up asking to move (only 1 other table was occupied). Our new table was so loud we couldn't hear each other or the server...eventually, we asked for music to be turned down, but it was still just generally loud throughout the meal. My husband ordered a rum and coke zero with Mount Gay. The confusion for his drink was insane. Server seemed clueless, bar manager came over to ask him what it was, then a rum and soda arrived which we sent back. Eventually, the right drink came, but it shouldn't have been that hard...and we were charged $16 while specialty cocktails are $14. We ordered sushi as an appetizer plus mains. It all arrived at once - not ideal. She brought us 2 sushi settings for 5 people...had to ask for more and still were short a plate. For $200 before tip, I won't be back any time soon. It was both stressful and comical.

    Terrible seating... We had a reservation, but we were still seated in the bar area near the door. Which was way too close to the hostess stand. By the end of the dinner people wating for a table were standing all around our table. Some of the drinks on the menu were not available and the chicken stir fry had very little chicken. Overall this is the worst Kona Grill I have been to in the whole country.

    It smelled like sewage at our table. It didn’t in the restroom but this definitely changed our impression of the restaurant and the food.

    Although My grandson and I enjoyed our meal and the server was great, however the hostess obviously didn't like her job. She is the first person your guest see, and she was not friendly at all. That definitely put a damper on our overall experience.

    Unfortunately this place is never good. I had to go for a friends gathering and someone else picked this place. We were initially sat at a table and the hostess literally tossed the menus on the table without saying a word. We had an extra person so we got moved upstairs except it was so loud from music. The waiter who was kind but brought me the wrong drink twice. Third time got it right but was still charged for the drink. The meatballs were actually ok but 22 dollars for 4 meatballs that are the size of a golf ball. The margarita that I got was 16 dollars. Wave roll was ok but once again $$$. Will do my best to never have to come back here. Save yourself some money and go to any other restaurant in liberty.

    We have had good experiences before, but this was not one of them. We checked in 5 minutes before our reservation and was told there would be a 20 minute wait. 50 minutes later we had to ask what was going on…..why have a reservation if you have to wait an hour? We won’t be back for awhile.

    Smelled like sewer the minute we walked in and the food was overpriced :( poke bowl wasn’t that great. Sushi was good and so was service!
