First visit. The server was good. He did most everything very well. The food took an hour and seemed excessively priced for the quality and quantity ($25 for a burger and fries?). It was good but In N Out is a better burger for a third of the price. Kids entree was barely warm and the high chair was filthy - it very obviously didn’t get a good clean - something I would expect for a pricey restaurant! I just can’t recommend as a good experience. Again, especially for the price.

I really liked our waiter. The food was cold but good. The atmosphere was nice for lunch event. I enjoyed the bottomless mimosas .

It was a bigger group and so the VERY loud music was hard to enjoy our time together to chat. We had to yell. Our server was not very attentive either. We also showed up for our reservation of 10 to be sat down at a table sat for 8 so had to squeeze in to make the 10 work.

While the service we received was commendable, and our server truly shone with her attentive and professional demeanor, the culinary experience left much to be desired. The noise level in the restaurant was notably high, bordering on overwhelming, making it difficult to enjoy a relaxing meal. If there had been an option to rate the noise as "too loud," I would have opted for that. On a positive note, one of the managers handled our dissatisfaction with grace and attentiveness, which we greatly appreciated. Nevertheless, the food did not meet our expectations, and this alone will keep us from returning.

This was our first time eating at Kona Grill. The waiter was exceptional and very attentive. The manager visited our table twice to make sure all was good. Great good. Enjoyed every bite. We will return for sure. Highly recommend.

Everything about this restaurant is nice! Our server was great, good was delicious and atmosphere was beautiful. Music playing was a little loud, but we really liked it here! Will definitely be back!

None of the small overpriced entrees contained all the items as described on the menu. Had to send one entre back. Appreciate the complimentary b/day dessert. $300.00 with tip for 4 adults one child. Won't return or recommend.

We came for happy hour, a couple of rolls, a couple of beers and the shrimp and chicken lettuce wraps. Our waiter came back to our table to tell us they didn't have the lettuce wraps today. Basically that was the dish we came for. We ordered flat bread instead, which was ok but not what we were hoping for. We also ordered sliders. One was tiny, maybe an inch and a quarter wide and the other was twice the size. When we asked they said the sliders are made from Kings Hawaiian rolls and that's what they look like, but I've NEVER seen a Kings Hawaiian roll so small (an inch and a quarter). The two rolls were very good, the service was good, but really neither of us felt like we got what we wanted in the end.

The place itself was nice the atmosphere nice but the food and service wasn’t good enough for me to want to come back. We ordered chop salad with grilled chicken and pad Thai noodles. Water and a Diet Coke. We got the wrong drink first and then when the salad came out we didn’t get the grilled chiefken that was an extra $8 so we asked for it and when we got it, it was dry and very small like 4z and I had an empty water cup waiting to get filled twice. They did not charge for the chicken which was nice but I felt that I couldn’t start eating until my wife got her chicken and it just was a long time. Overall they get a 2 out of 5. Do better.

For the price it wasnt that great. Brunch omelets had no flavor, sausage was dry, cappuccino was bland and one of the omelets had egg shell pieces.

Prices are too high and soon unfordable. We were a party of three and had a couple of appetizers and one drink. We paid over $140 with tips.

Both steaks had NO seasoning. No flavor. My 12oz New York strip had 8oz of inedible fat. Both steaks were under cooked. My wife ordered medium rare and if I had an cattle prod, I could have brought it back to life. I ordered medium well and it was closer to medium rare than my wife's. Hollandaise sauce that came with the steak was rancid. Waiter tripped and spilled Coke all over my wife. They offered nothing for the trouble, no desert no discount nothing. I received an email offer from the website before we went for a free drink and even the manager knew nothing about it or how to make it work so no free drink. $120 for two of us with no desert or appetizers. We will not be back .

We got there early for our reservation and waited in the front to be seated by the hostesses. After waiting our hostess walked us over to outside seating. I don't know if in our reservation when it said if we had any special requests, if I should've put, please sit inside, but I didn't even know they had an outside seating that is partially covered up. Earlier that afternoon, it started raining and by that time, it was very wet outside. Now, on managements part, or whoever was in charge of the seating for the evening should've accounted for the weather and adjusted to it. Before the hostess went to sit us down at our table, she noticed that the mesh wall that separated us from the outside, kept being blown up against our table from the wind. She went over and moved our table, even closer to the tables around it. The space is very cramped now and when we sit down, I'm instantly met with water on my seat, and on the table making my clothes wet. I asked them to wipe the table down but even after that, it's still somewhat wet. Our waitress comes by and asks how our evening is going and tell her we are getting wet from the mesh wall and the rain coming through it. She find us a spot at the sushi bar which is a very cramped space. There were two groups of people on either side of our seats. We had to sit so close to each other that our thighs and arms were touching the whole time. We couldn't get out of our seats to go to the bathroom without it being a big problem for the people on either sides of us and the table behind us. We waited an hour and half for our food to come out and when we got our food we just wanted to eat as quickly as possible to get out of there from the frustration of the evening. Knowingly, sitting people outside while it's raining and allowing them to get wet is wrong. The only reason I am even giving any stars is for how polite our waitress was. I am posting this wherever I can because Kona needs to make a change about the outside seating.

Food was amazing, drinks were amazing, server was upstanding but when I make a reservation at 7pm, I expect to be seated with a table at 7pm…not 7:30pm Always seem to overbook their seats, I’ve had this issue multiple times, frustrating.

Kona was hit or miss for a while but last two times have been hits. Very busy Valentine’s Day and they were really on their game. Had to wait maybe 10 minutes past our reservation but no big deal. Very pleased.

Waited at least 1 hour for food other than that it was good

The waiter was great. Everything else was a disappointment. The food was overpriced for what you got, and the quality was really lacking. Neither steak for my wife or myself was cooked correctly. The portions were very small for the cost. the table iPad reminded me of a much lower quality dining experience.

Been here 4-5 times over the last several years. Servers have been good every time. The food is great and the ambience is spot on. We'll be back.

Our Valentines dinner was a disappointment. The lobster was tiny and the fillet was small and not tender. Was not like the picture on Facebook. Bad advertising. We expected a much better dinner for the price. We wish we had gone somewhere else

Had a reservation for 2 weeks with 8 guests. Was 40 degrees outside was taken to a table 1 foot from wide open patio door. Asked if they could close door. Was told No. they did reseat us in the back. NO ONE wants to sit outside in Idaho in February. Waiter was great. Food mediocre for price. $27 hamburger Really in Idaho. This is not NYC

My partner and I go here about once a month for date nights and we always get the crab crunch and the bama roll and it hits every time, kona margaritas are the best margs i’ve ever had. definitely worth coming here during their happy hour!
