Second exceptionally bad experiences in a row. Think I will give up on these guys. Noise level was so bad that while we were walking in we asked for a different section or something outdoors. We were told that we were not going to be switched with a half empty restaurant after the rush. Took 15 minutes to get water and drinks after ordering. When the appetizer arrived we had no plates. No one to help with that, but since it was a manager who dropped it off you would think, being a manager he would have been sharper than the average idiot. It wasn’t until after the appetizer was finished before our waitress brought us a couple of plates. Ordered the prime rib med-rare. It came out well done, but how could it not when they were giving you a half inch slice for $52.00. What a rip off. My wife ordered the surf and turf (med) and it came out drier than a desert. When we sent them back I got another overcooked piece of crap. My wife was told to pick something else because we are completely out of steaks. Not a good start! I was afraid to order the desserts because I was afraid of how they were going to destroy them as well. Nothing went well for the Kona Grill team. They knew they had messed up badly enough that they offered us additional cocktails and a free dinner the next time we come in. If it’s up to me there won’t be a next time. But the wife says this is their way to try and make it up to us. I say good riddance.

Unfortunately very poor service! Food took more than 40 minutes to get to us after we nagged few times. Manager waived one of the dishes so that was very kind of them, but unfortunately when you wait so long for your food you will lose your appetite. Music was extremely loud, barely was hearing my wife cross my table. Food was very delicious tho!

Staff here were excellent and made us all feel at home. I believe Sara was our server, she was outstanding.

Seeing it was Mother's Day. I can't imagine how bad the wait was. First, we had a reservation and waited 20 minutes, then were seated and waited over an hour for our food. The waiter was apologetic but they did nothing for us in return. The food was subpar and my wife actually got sick. Not sure that I would go back after that experience with my family.

Came today to celebrate a Mother's Day Sunday lunch.. Even with reservations, we still had to go in line to check in but the hostess was very apologetic for the wait, was funny in her Long Island accent and very cordial. We were seated fairly quickly once we got through the check in process. Our waitress was friendly and even though it was extremely busy, she made every effort to be present and accommodating. The menu was varied and eclectic and food served was delish. The location is in a prime spot in Boca Park (Summerlin), parking was rather tight with the holiday but the parking structure had plenty of spaces and the venue itself was aesthetically pleasing to the eyes - modern and trendy chic but also comfortable and cozy. Overall, our first time here was wonderful and enjoyable. Thank you:)

We had a reservation and had to wait in line in the heat to be seated. It was so hot we ended up taking the bar. The food took 1 hour to come out, my sangria was made out of box wine and it was 20 dollars. Food was warm not even hot. The menu was very small, just not a place to go when is a holiday

Reception and overall service was awful. The restaurant was totally not ready for influx of customers on Mothers Day. The menu selection for Mother’s Day was very limited. Will not go there again.

We had reservations for Mothers Day, however, when we got there is was a complete madhouse. There was a line out the door and no sort of organization at all. We ended up eating at another restaurant near by.

Had reservations at 12p. Has to wait in line to check in for more than 20 minutes, before “checking in” and then having to sit in a bench for another 20 minutes waiting for a table to be ready. Whats the point of making a reservation? Once seated, was informed that there was a completely limited menu which would allow my kids to even order breakfast items for BRUNCH. And was shrugged off by a manager who basically said they wouldn’t do anything to try to accommodate is. We asked for eggs, bacon, and toast for our 7 year old and was told that it would destroy their whole operation if they asked the kitchen to make a special request. We just felt like a complete inconvenience for any request we had. The only way we could ensure our daughter received breakfast was to order an $21 adult meal. Eggs were either rubbery or overcooked, bland, flavorless, and just inedible. It was a terrible experience that left my wife (and mother of 5) frustrated and disappointed on a day that should have otherwise been special. You ruined our meal and provided a very disappointing experience. We will not be returning to deal with your poor service or poor food.

I can't say the experience was bad. I can say it was disappointing. We had a reservation for 11:15 on Mother's Day. The hostess podium was in the Vegas sun, which created issues for tablet computers accessing the reservation system. After 20 minutes, we were finally seated. The patio seating that we requested was loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. The bulk of the noise was due to the music on the pa system being very loud, perhaps double the normal volume. Service was slow and, at times, confused. I ordered the crab Benedict, which had roughly 2 tablespoons of crab split between the 2 muffin halves, and the hollandaise was sparingly applied. I have frequented this location for Kona Grill for 20 years and have never been disappointed until this visit.

Unfortunately it was not a good experience. We had reservations, still had to wait, the food took over an hour to get, server kept forgetting our requests, the people sitting next to us came in after us, got served first. It was terrible, totally over priced for the quality of the experience. We could have went to the strip and had a better time and would have been cheaper.

We sat down and the table was great and the vibe was fun. Server took our order. The kids food came out first and was not what we ordered. Their food did not come back out for 20 mins. Our bananas foster pancakes came out and were tasty but had barely any sauce. My Benedict came out which was supposed to be crab. When I asked the server if it was crab he said yes and rushed away. It was very clearly a ham Benedict. I could hear the table next to us asking the very same question. Server returned a while later and said actually it looks like the kitchen made a mistake. I can ask them if they can remake it? Yes of course I want it remade! Kids food finally comes but no ketchup for the burger or fries. Server took forever to return to our table. He brought with him my husbands breakfast which came with pancakes. He brought the pancakes dry. When my husband asked if these come with butter and syrup he says “they should.” And runs off. Overall terrible service. The food was very disappointing and our server couldn’t care less about our bad experience.

Went for Mother’s Day brunch. Had a reservation, got seated right away. Ordered their brunch Bloody Mary, specifically asked if it came with what was on the menu and was told yes. We asked because the garnish is what makes the drink. Well, it didn’t come with the blue cheese stuffed olives or even a celery stick, sent it back and got a sangria instead. About 1/2 hour after ordering, waiter said the food would be right out. About 15 minutes later, he said he’d check the kitchen. Came back and said the food should be out, we asked for the manager. Manager never came, waiter came back and said the kitchen told him our food went out, obviously it didn’t make it to us. We told him that people around us that came 20 minutes after us got their food already. Manager never came by, so after an hour we said forget it. So much for a nice Mother’s Day brunch. So disappointing.

My daughter and I went to the Kona Grill for the first time and celebrated Mother’s Day. The food was delicious and the service was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be going back. Next time my husband wants to go!

Server Angelica is so RUDE and the Manager Alex didn’t care at all. We used to come here weekly, NEVER again! Manager Alex didn’t send a new waiter and did nothing for the terrible experience we had! Took about 20 minutes for our server to greet us. When ordering our food I asked if the fries were back to normal and she said our fries have always been the same, I explained, no on our last visit (within the month) that they had been changed temporarily due to a shortage. She ARGUED with me saying that was not true, they’ve always been the same. She continued with her rudeness through the ordering process. Angelica next argued about my email that stated welcome to new friendships, a round of bubbles are on is, and said that was not how it worked (despite the email in black and white). Our order for our tacos was wrong, and she rolled her eyes at us. Later I asked to speak to the Manager. The chef Jorge came out, and explained that we were of course correct and that the fries had been different. He said the Manager Alex would take care of the whole table and comp everything. Never asked for that, and that certainly didn’t end up to be the case. Later the Manager Alex came out said he would only be taking care of the fries and the bubbles (which I have the email saying something to the effect of new friendships, show this email for a round of bubbles), so not only did he do nothing for the terrible service, we had NO server for the rest of our visit. He also argued with me about my email and said he hadn’t seen the promotion before and took a picture of my email stating he would have to talk to corporate, like what?! WOW! He was also so rude didn’t care. We were regulars at Kona, but this is our second TERRIBLE experience here, recent with Angelica and before with another incredibly rude server Rosa. We will never dine in this restaurant again, I will not take my business associates, nor will I bring my family. These people ruined my young daughter’s graduation.

They were out of most of the seafood selection food preparation was ok I had a filet coworker had the surf and turf another had ribs no drinks 240 plus tip I the surf had no lobster no crab and only some shrimp I am sure it was an off night service was decent price was high for the food that was served

Kona Grill is one of our favorite restaurants and the Sweet Chili glazed salmon with Brussel sprouts was excellent, as usual. What made it especially enjoyable on Saturday, was our server, Desiree. She was the best.

I haven’t been here forever and it was very empty and the service was super slow. The food was also just flat overall and the prices are borderline absurd for a casual spot.

Second visit with our neighbors who have never been to Kona. Food was good, not sure why service was so slow when it came to drinks and desert! Floor was not busy, but our food came before our drinks and we put our drinks in early! Waitress didn’t check in on us much, which would have helped. Not sure we will be back again.

Excellent service is good food clean restaurant, friendly atmosphere. The server was very courteous and kept on asking us if we needed anything he did all our refills. We did not have to wait for anything.

Update: We spoke to the GM today, he realizes the Konavore Rewards system is not good and explained that it is a third-party product and not reliable. He actually went out of his way to make amends with us. His customer service and care will keep our loyalty to KG. We have had numerous issues with getting Konavore Rewards. Last time we spoke to the Manager who said he’d ensure we got our points for this visit AND he’d look into a previous missing point submission for us. I emailed him directly with the missing receipt and information. To date I’ve never heard back from the Manager, I’ve never received my points for current dining and I’ve never heard back from Kona HQs after numerous contact attempts. We were regular diners, at least twice a month, but this ridiculous situation and lack of response has changed where we spend our dining dollars.

The service was dismal after our food was delivered. Server checked in when food arrived then never came back. We had to walk towards hostess stand before finding him so we could pay our bill. They have small iPad devices on the table to “call your server” or “pay your bill”, but none of these features worked. We won’t be back.

Kona Grill was amazing. The best food I’ve had in Vegas and the service was a 10/10. We celebrated my sisters bday and the menu had something for everyone. My nephew got the kids meal menu and wanted everything on it. The sliders are a must.
