            Just had a delightful lunch with my daughter. The service was impeccable. We had the chef’s salad and the shrimp tacos with the sauce on the side. They were both delicious. Would definitely recommend.

            We shared a few sushi rolls and some sushi a la carte. It was very pedestrian. Nothing special, not as impressive as the menu description of the rolls. No compelling reason to return. Our server was very nice :)

            Disappointing service. Had 2 waiters argue over our table to us. The sushi fell apart as soon as you tried to pick it up with chopsticks. Definitely not returning.

            Great happy hour menu and prices. The shrimp tacos are a little spicy. Monte our waiter was excellent.

            A very UNDERWHELMING and disappointing experience. In Open Table reservation this lunch was marked as an Anniversary Lunch, and we wish we had gone elsewhere; Kona Grill/ Avalon Alpharetta is a disappointment. Avoid this place; it's too pricey for bland, ungarnished food and poor or untrained service & bar personnel. Don't waste your time or $$$ at Kona Grill; go next door to Marlowe's for a MUCH better dining experience & food. At Kona, I ordered a beef filet with mashed potatoes; for the $42 entree price I received a large EMPTY plate with a SMALL filet and a dollop of bland mashed potatoes; there was absolutely NO GARNISH on the plate nor mashed potatoes (not a sprinkle of parsley nor a leaf of lettuce nor anything else), and NO Bread for the table. The only thing tasty was my filet. Husband said his burger was 'ok'. The waitress service was ok; she did not bring any napkins for the drinks so I had to ask for napkins (as she did bring napkins with drinks for the table seated after us & next to us), not her fault but she had to come back TWICE to tell me they were 'out of the beer' I asked for (Stella & Peroni) and she then blamed the wait for my beer on the bar; who were NOT busy at all at 12:45 pm; the entire restaurant was not even 1/5 occupied, at best. Also, as it was our anniversary luncheon, they did NOTHING special at all nor even acknowledged it. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

            Yes, the restaurant's interior was pretty, + the hostess was inviting, yet our entree wait was excessive. SADLY, our food lacked integrity. The BBQ Chicken Flatbread was grubbier than sunblock. Our daughter's Steak was Tough, + her String Beans were Soaked in Oil. My Ribeye Meatballs were prepared in a tasty Chili Glaze + Creamy Peppercorn Sauce, yet served with a Hard Outer Shell Atop Lukwarm Potatoes. Tracking down our Sweet Server was also an issue. We decided just to eat the meal vs. reorder for fear of the same measures. The BirthDAY Girl did enjoy her Margarita. Complimentary BD Cake was Aesthetically Appealing, yet OVERCOOKED + Bland. Highlight - The Cake Sparkler for the Win! Price Point - Ridiculously Elevated for the Quality of Food We Received. Dined: TuesDAY, 5.21.24 6:30PM Reservation
