            I was very disappointed w/ Kona Grill. I had a reservation for 7pm on Father’s Day. Our table was not ready. We ended up leaving and dined at another restaurant. We finally recd. a call at 7:23 that our table was ready. But by then it was too late, my family and I had already left and went to another restaurant.

            Food was okay. The entire restaurant had no AC everyone was sweating while eating their food . This was my second time eating here .

            We reserved a table for 6 and were told on OpenTable this was a prix fixed menu for Father’s Day. We arrived at the restaurant and saw no indication of this, but we weren’t bothered. I clearly mentioned on the reservation that 2 in the party of 6 were kids 6 and under, yet the hostess didn’t even share the restaurant had a kids menu. We were seated by the DJ and the open door with 98 degree outside heat, not the best choice with 2 small kids if you’re a hostess.Our waiter took a good 10 mins to come to our table to acknowledge us and offer drinks. We ordered our food and waited at least 45 minutes, for the entrees to arrive, only to learn that 3 of the 6 entrees were cold. The mashed potatoes with the undercooked steak were inedible, but the rest of the food was fine. I asked the waiter to please remove the extra charges for kids drinks because the menu clearly stated drinks were included in the price, but he neglected to do so. At this point we were so fed up with the experience that we paid and left. Needless to say, we’re not coming back here.

            This was our first time here and it was awful. It took 40 minutes for our food to come. The steaks were cooked well done and we asked for medium. We sent them back and one was still over cooked, after we waited another 25 minutes. And they didn’t even offer to give us any discount for the mistakes.

            The service was ok, the waitress was very friendly and polite, but the food wasn’t too good. The restaurant was very busy and the noise level thru the roof. I won’t go back, perhaps if you have kids or teenagers, maybe that’s an option.

            Waiter Patrick is was horrible! Literally disappeared for 40 minutes. We didn’t get half of our meal. And it took 30 mins to get food.
