Cela fait longtemps que les propriétaires du restaurant le King's Fish House travaillent dans la restauration, depuis 3 générations pour être plus précis; et ils adorent les fruits de mer. Avec eux, il y a de quoi être passionné : la fraîcheur, la saveur, la variété et la découverte. Pour créer l'expérience ultime de dégustation de fruits de mer, ils ont parcouru bien des chemins, petits et grands. Ils se sont arrêtés pour s'asseoir, ils ont mis leurs bavoirs et ont plongé dans les saveurs des fruits de mer : les plats sans nom aux saveurs inoubliables, les montagnes d'huîtres et de palourdes fraîchement pêchées, les spécialités décrites à la main sur de vieilles ardoises et le bouillon savoureux de toutes les combinaisons d'épices imaginables. Le plaisir de préparer et de partager les fruits de mer était simple et authentique et cela a fait ressortir le meilleur de chacun d'entre eux. Souvent, ils se sont sentis comme s'ils avaient été accueillis chez quelqu'un. Voilà ce qu'est l'esprit du King's Fish House. Outstanding service! The food was amazing. We ordered the top three dishes recommended by our server. From the grill, Shrimp & Scallop meal with mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese was by far the best meal I’ve had in awhile. Superb! The New England clam chowder soup is also the best I’ve ever had too. Every bite had a clam in it. 10/10 recommend coming here whenever you’re craving seafood!! Will be back again

I’ve been here many times but this was by far my best experience. I never go out on holidays because I always feel like the staff rushes you and the food is subpar. We made an exception this year and decided to go out for Mother’s Day. We made a reservation on opentable and when we got to the restaurant we were seated promptly even though it was very busy. Our waiter Kenneth came to the table immediately and introduced himself. He was an excellent server. Attentive and friendly. Food came out exactly as ordered and delicious! The whole experience was great!

We came here for Mother’s Day. Same exact food ordered at Carlsbad location and was 10 notches down at the Mission Valley location. Everything was over cooked and burnt. Miso yaki black cod was burnt all over on the exterior and tasted charred with a few bites that was edible in the center. Daughters fish was so dry and overcooked and her Brussels sprouts looked like they have been cooked a few times. Husbands South African lobster was over cooked and rubbery- tasted great but rubber & tough in texture. As much as we wanted to send our food back it was busy and our waitress was overwhelmed. I would say it’s just a miss this time but all 3 entrees were unacceptable.

We had a great meal on the patio for Mother’s Day. Everyone enjoyed their food. Patio was dog friendly allowing us to bring our little dog.

Great service, atmosphere, & the food was outstanding. Definitely recommend the sea bass with bok choy & mushrooms. It was excellent. We'll definitely go back again.

Excellent food as always. King crab was delicious but very pricey at $180 for 1.5 lbs. The Australian Spiny Lobster was also very tasty and a value for the money at $84 for 1.5 lbs. Great sushi, sides and Caesar salads. Drinks were good, but also pricey. This was our daughter’s graduation so money was a non-issue, but for a family of four expect to pay at least $50-$60 per person with extras and drinks. Amazing sourdough bread to start, but be warned that it’s easy to do this!!!

Our server was very knowledgeable about menu selections and described the difference of preparation of the swordfish vs. the yellow fin. Food was wonderful and our server was very attentive which was appreciated. Nice way to spend pre- Mother’s Day. 😊

I had an incredible experience at Kings! The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend trying the crabcakes, they were delicious. Pairing them with the lobster roll was a fantastic combination. And to top it all off, the cheesecake for dessert was simply divine. You can't go wrong with the amazing cheesecake at Kings!

As usual a great dinner. Ken was our server and he excelled at taking care of everything. We really love this place and will be back for sure. Our food was amazing and it felt like a celebration night for us. We are sad because we are moving away soon but we will be back regardless. SD trip with Kings!

Michelle was outstanding; however food wasn’t fantastic yet expensive. Halibut was overcooked and crab & sea bass were too salty. Oysters were amazing!

Great server. Really like your restaurant because your staff knows how to treat guests. Water, bread, extra butter. All effortlessly understood. Then not rushing us too. So appreciated. We come a few times each year to enjoy delicious seafood with full service.

Only issue was I ordered the 1 pound king crab and it was terribly salty. Dunking the butter made it edible. I mentioned it to the server and he explained that it comes frozen, packed in salt and ice. Server said the process was to rinse out the salt and then steam. I knew it was frozen but didn't know about the salt. I told him about my issue and to tell the Chef. The other 3 diners at my table enjoyed their meals.

The swordfish and halibut were both delicious. I love the macaroni and cheese and the grilled zucchini was also excellent (cooked but not overcooked). Baked potatoes are also favorites.

My family and I decided to dine here tonight and everything went nice and smooth. The person that served us named Tristan was very nice and helpful. The food we had was also great. We absolutely absolutely will come here again when we are in the mood.

Very disconcerted about a barking dog. It sounded very agitated right next to our table. It seemed to threaten our wait person. Did not see a service dog vest. It was a disturbing after an excellent meal.

We celebrated family Easter a day early, and early in the day- at 1 pm on Saturday by coming to our long-term favorite restaurant. Brother-in-law had grilled catfish, sister had seafood chowder and large southwest chicken salad; I had clam chowder and small beet salad with grilled salmon. In honor of sister's birthday, we enjoyed a slice of fantastic Key lime pie. All was excellent! Our server Alicia was superb as well, even though assigned to our table on top of a separate room. We left full and smiling!

Love the sourdough bread and pairs well with the Clam Chowder. Most times the service is very friendly. This last time it was meh; might be a new server or having an off day. Food can be pricey.

Fantastic dinner at King's! Two plates of crab and the favorite Sea Bass made for a great dinner and experience. Stephanie was our server and she was great. Five stars for Stephanie. Tristan brought us our food when it was ready and he was awesome as well. And to top it off, one of our favorites, Kenneth, came buy and snapped a picture of us. Really great crew at King's and we highly recommend them. And a bonus if you get to sit with Kenneth, Tristan, or Stephanie!

1st time at the King's Fish House, found on Open Table. Bday celebration for a friend The service was outstanding, our waiter was prompt on taking our order and he kept checking back on us. The food was very good, my husband had the Mahi and I had the pasta with shrimp. It was cooked to perfection and was a good serving. My friend had the whole crap and she left no shell uneaten!! The desert, bread pudding was to die for! We will be back, it is a hidden gem!!

Hank was a fun and helpful server. Great with the birthday magic treatment. Love the warm bread and cold beer. Good crab cakes too! Next time I will treat myself to the fish n chips… they make themselves proud.

We love the fresh food at King's Fish House, especially the catfish, which is hard to find, and the amazing vegetable sides. The baked potatoes are delicious as well!

Seems like the fried shrimp, fish and scallops were not fresh but frozen. Fish was mushy and more breading than shrimp meat. Fries were warm and not hot. Coleslaw had no taste. The meals were disappointing. Went for my husband’s birthday and noted that on the open table reservation. No mention or acknowledgement of his birthday. It was busy and somewhat loud. The booth next to us had small children walking on the seats. Our waitress was great considering how busy it was. She brought out water and asked us if we wanted bread which was brought out quickly. The food came out quickly, too. Assembly line food, since it’s such a big place. I would rather go to a seafood restaurant that has fresh seafood including the fried selections. I’m sure they have some fresh fish, but I would suggest asking for the fresh fish being served that day. We will not go back.

Had a great dinner at King's Fish House. Good Mai Tai's and beers on tap. My wife had the South African Lobster Tails and I had the grilled salmon. Food was excellent and our waiter Ken was top-notch. Took great care of us. Menu is extensive offering all kinds of seafood. Great restaurant for a night out with good food and doesn't involve having to dress up fancy!
