I had a lovely experience. I was in town on business and made a reservation for one. Everyone—from the host to the wait staff and the runners—couldn’t have been kinder. My meal consisted of a Caesar salad, lobster bisque, and the Moroccan mahi mahi, the last on recommendation from the waitress. Each course was delicious and flavorful. I wish I had room for dessert; maybe next time. I definitely would return.

Great restaurant, but that night had to wait 25 minutes until server came to our table after being seated. All food was very good except prime rib - apparently not cooked long enough- but they brought out a filet as a substitute which was excellent. Server was very good and made the overall experience pleasant in spite of those aberrations.

The restaurant was loud to begin with. We moved to a different table. The sound level was lower. The service was slow, and the food fell exponentially below to what we have been accustomed to over the years.

Two menus for Mother's Day brunch - prix fixe with heavy entrees and a breakfast menu. We chose standard breakfast plates and a Caprese omelet. No options for eggs (scrabled only), potatoes were luke warm, bacon undercooked, English muffin lukewarm and soggy. I know that breakfast is not usually a part of the menu at Kincaid's but I believe that they can do much better.

Wish I could say I liked this place. The ambiance is great, so we had high hopes walking in. Drinks were good. Caesar salad was good. Garlic butter bread was fantastic. The service was top notch. But the steaks? Disappointing to say the least. Although I ordered my filet medium rare, it came out essentially raw (less than 1/8” cooked through). It was like they waved it over the grill, just enough to give it the illusion of having hit the grill. I sent it back, and it came back better, but not great. The leek blue cheese butter was tasty though. My son ordered a 16 oz ribeye, and his was overcooked and had maybe 6 oz of edible steak. The rest was gristle and fat, and not the delicious marble of a ribeye. It was huge chunks of greasy fat pockets. After spending almost $200, we left hungry and disappointed. Save your money. Go anywhere else.

The food and ambiance at Kincaid’s is always exceptional. The challenge was the service. The bar and kitchen must have been overwhemed because there we significant delays in getting orders to the table. This is unusual as we do come fairly regularly but each time the service is slower and slower. The serving staff also are constantly in the go and also seem overwhelmed even though it really wasn’t that busy for a Friday evening. Disappointing but hope it’s just a blip in the road and the service will improve.

Food and ambiance were great. They were clearly under staffed. Waitress was kind, but very few visits from her. I was out of my soda for more than 15min 2 times. I ordered a coffee that never came with my desert and it was on my tab. Waitress was embarrassed when I pointed it that out. In this day and age, everyone knows good help is hard to find, but sadly I guess the standard has been lowered for a $200+ dinner at Kincaid's.

Great meal with excellent service. Between the sea bass, risotto, and the pork chop, couldn't go wrong. Decent wine prices as well.

We had a wonderful waitress and excellent service. One downside. It was my stepson's birthday and our waitress asked what he wanted for dessert. He chose the chocolate cake. Then she returned and said there were only two complimentary desserts for birthdays, creme brulee and something else which I did not hear. Really???!!! There is a dollar difference between the cake and creme brulee and yet his choice was not complimentary. We chose the cake and I paid for it and for our dinner. But the three of us discussed the missed chance all for a dollar!! It's funny about customer service -- I spent over $200 at your restaurant last night and will remember the dessert snafu for a long time. Don't ask if there is a special reason for the dinner if you cannot honor a simple dessert choice. When our cake came, we asked the person who brought it for a candle which is he brought and lighted in a bit of a huff. Again a missed opportunity. He could have said something like Happy Birthday. You were not busy so there was time to spend 5 seconds with us.

Haven't been to Kincaid's in a long time. It's not as good as I remember it. The steak was fine, but the potatoes had been in the kitchen a while - crusty, lukewarm. The lobster tail I ordered was flat-out cold. Service was glitchy. Took so long to locate the bottle of wine we ordered, our food arrived before the wine.

Food good but not great. Service is average. We did have hair in our appetizer and they comp us for that but it was unpleasant and kind of ruined the experience and impression.

I've always loved Kincaid's, though it's been inconsistent over the last several years. The food was really great, but when a regular pour of a decent wine is $28 (or more!), it makes it really difficult to justify the cost/value. They call it a "luxury" pour, but that only means they use a coravin to pour from the bottle. At that price, I'd expect at least a 9 ounce pour instead of the 5-6 ounces you usually get. Not sure if they have a corking fee, but I will consider checking into that and bringing my own bottle of Austin Hope @ $56/bottle instead of paying $28 per glass.

Sorry to say…but my meal was worst I’ve gotten at Kincaid’s. My Mahi Mahi was so tough, chewy and dried out. Could not taste the crab…which was also very dry. The mashed potatoes were also dry and crumbly. Very disappointing meal this time.

The food was pretty good aside from the hair one of us found in our entree. But service was absurdly slow. We were there for literally over two hours, even though it was a prix fixe menu for Easter with limited options and it was not crowded. For the price they were charging, the service should have been much faster.

Always have a great time at Kincaid's. Only one issue. My brother and I were seated at the smallest table. I think the wait staff should have noticed my brother's size would have been better suited at one of the roomier tables.

Stopped for Easter we have always really enjoyed Kincaid's. This time the food was little off tasted fine appetizer was only warm, and the same the mashed potatoes ordered Prime Rib MR and it came out MW. We could have returned it however it was holiday, and everyone was busy.

Our server was terrific. The food was less impressive. A number of us had the catching the day. The Jasmine rice had an odd texture, eliciting a question of it was left over from the day before. My grilled fish had a not disclosed on the menu garlic butter sauce. The key lime pie was good.

Another great meal prior to an Ordway performance! Food was wonderful and was brought out quickly. Our 7 year old granddaughter enjoyed it too.

Excellent meal before an evening at the orchestra. Service was attentive, gracious, and constant. The grill is dialed in perfectly for a top-notch ribeye. The key lime pie was completely unnecessary, but sublime!
