The restaurant is nice the drinks get straight to the point 2/3 frozen rosé had me feeling nice the atmosphere is really nice you can take some nice pictures the food is expensive Chinese food I give the food a 7 out of 10 but I would recommend you go try them out

Excellent Chinese and Japanese food the Beijing chicken wasn't hot and a little disappointing. All appetizers were terrific I could have had more of those rather than a main course The main room lovely the bar VERY LOUD

If you’re looking for a romantic drink in a beautifully designed bar, this is it. If you’re hungry, avoid at all costs. I’m not entirely convinced the chicken satay was real chicken. The scallion pancakes were only fried dough. The edamame dumplings and the Asian salad were the only things that were edible. And heads up you will get automatically charged a 20% tip, probably bc they got tired of people hating the food and taking it out on the waitstaff. Save yourself and just have a drink at the bar.

The food resembled the corner store Chinese spot in the hood. Great ambiance but the food was subpar conserving the price. Every meal only comes with white rice which is a scam.

The service is really slow. The food and drinks are over priced for what you're getting, which is glorified PF Changs food. The ambience (decor, music, overall vibe) is nice though.

I do not appreciate or like being dictated on what gratuity to pay. Gratuity is always optional and should remain as such. The menu clearly states gratuity is automatic on seatings of 4 or above, this is not true. This is a problem with most NYC restaurants today. A greedy, Seedy money grab disguised as 20% gratuities and 4% fees. I will no longer patronize any Restaurant with these extortion fees where the patrons don’t have any choices.

Terrible time after being placed randomly at a table where everyone was constantly walking around us and could not accommodate another table. Waiter did not even try to make it better. Just gave the bill and continued on.

First time dining at Jue Lan Club,& everything was terrific, from the drinks to the wonderful service, to the interesting and delectable food. We were a party of 6 people,& so loved to be seated at a round table, so much easier for conversing. Fun evening!

Great food great drinks and great vibes.. my chicken satay was rubbery, that’s a first because I’ve had them here a few times and it’s always been a hit.. Other than that, and the slight rushed service, all good!!!

An interesting place for a few reasons. The setting is great - old church, well laid out, and the Jue Lan Club history is interesting. The food I thought was good, but for the price it needed to be great. Some dishes were, like the Pow Pow, others underwhelmed, like the jumbo shrimp - at almost 30 bucks I expected fresh, cooked to perfection shrimp, but they were very overcooked. The ambience, give it was. Sunday afternoon and Lunar New Year - I wasn't expecting Rave music. It wasn't a major problem, but quite unexpected. Lastly, what's with the min gratuity for a party of 4? That's not a party! That's (in our case) a small family. Would probably go back, but maybe an evening for adults only.

Went here to celebrate my birthday with friends and so glad I chose this restaurant! The vibe was so fun and the food was amazing. Our server was also very kind. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone celebrating a special occasion or looking for good food!

Was seated and 5 minutes later a couple was seated next to us and had order taken within 5 minutes of them sitting. well I sat there and waited 20 minutes and had to flag someone down to take my order. Been here 3/4 times prior didn’t have this issue Not worth the price tag for the service this night.
