Johnny's Italian Steakhouse® West Chester is the first and only in Ohio. The restaurant concept began in Moline, IL with a few very important elements in mind, great steaks, hot music, hot Italian, and a cool place. And that is what you will find when you join us at Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse®. Johnny’s is a steakhouse complimented with a rich Italian background featuring traditional and innovative items and a superior wine list.

The classic interior is reminiscent of the supper clubs of yesteryear. The sophisticated design of the restaurant is welcoming and warm; the illuminated lighting creates an air of mystique and privacy. The classic sounds of Sinatra, Dean and Sammy Davis, Jr. as well as contemporary crooners like Michael Bublé and Harry Connick Jr. surround the restaurant and infuse an aura and rhythm all of it’s own.

I had an amazing time. The staff was amazing and handled everything great with the computers not working. The food and service was amazing. We had order the steak deburgo and a ribeye the steaks were so amazing and melted in our mouths

I ordered the filet trio and each crust was so amazing. The steak melted in my mouth. I’ve never tried crusted steak before and now I’m hooked. My server Omar was so nice and amazing

I went for girls night and it is going to be our regular place for happy hour. The bartender was so knowledgeable and amazing. He was able to recommend drinks that we have never had before and suggested the best shareable appetizers

All I can say is just amazing!!! We did a pre-mothers day dinner and the prime rib just melted in my mouth. It needs to be on the menu everyday not just on the weekends

Let me just say the Waldorf salad with salmon was so amazing!!! I’ve never had it made so good. My husband ordered the chicken piccata and he loved it!! Great food and atmosphere.

The staff was nice and friendly. I sat at the bar while waiting for my friend to show up. The drinks were so amazing and she was very knowledgeable. The server suggested the Chanel number 5 which was so amazing and great portions. I had to get a box to take my food in and ordered a turtle cheesecake to go. We will definitely come back.

I am staying at the hotel and decided to try the restaurant. I was greeted immediately and advised that the kitchen closes in 15 minutes. I ordered a beer and a ribeye med rare with extra butter and asparagus. The steak melted in my mouth and had plenty of flavor. I haven’t had a steak that good in a long time. The asparagus was just right. I’m going to come back tomorrow for another meal. This place is a hidden gem

I decided to go regardless of the reviews; which was way worth the dining experience. I ordered the veal Parmesan and my husband ordered Parmesan crusted NY strip. Everything was so amazing and cooked to perfection. My server was so attentive and sweet. Can’t wait to come back for another meal!!!

Food wasn't to good, dry chickens and too salty. I couldn't reserve a table for a earlier time but when we came in the restaurant was so empty at 6.30pm. Waitress was good and pleasant. I wouldn't recommend that place

We Celebrated our wedding anniversary there. Food was good. I had salmon, veggies and baked potato. Veggies were a little over cooked but had good flavor. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs and thought it was good. We tried the sausage bread appetizer and it was ok, it tasted like meatloaf with a marinara dipping sauce. Ambiance was nice and we had a nice attentive waitress. We were seated in a booth and the noise level in restaurant was minimal. Overall it was a good experience.

Our medium well prime rib was over cooked. My spinach salmon salad was dry. I asked for more dressing and received more bacon. I understand that it’s a bacon dressing but it was like eating raw spinach with bacon and salmon, just dry. The only two workers were very polite and over worked. I appreciated their service. This was our second visit. The first visit was short staffed as well but the food was delicious. We hoped for the same at this visit.

First time here. We had a group of eight, and the hostess told me that they were out of the wine that I ordered, no biggie, I ordered another. Then she came back, told us that the were out of Filets, which three of the eight ordered. How can a steakhouse be out of steak? When our food finally came out, anyone who ordered mashed potato's or a baked potato, came out on the cold side. They had tile floors and whenever someone scooted their chair and made a deafening noise. Once the bill came, they added a 22.5% gratuity. Anything over 20% should be our choice. Will never go back.

Johnny’s was a great place to eat and relax. The food is priced right for the portions. The ambience and the decor of the restaurant makes you welcome. a great place for date or family dinner. 7/10 will come again.

What a terrible experience we had tonight at this used to be nice restaurant. They were out of all the steak all the Parmesan cheese. Everything was bad from top to bottom. And then hand you two hours later a $200 plus bill. Numerous time coming back-and-forth saying oh we’re out of this and we’re out of that. Do yourself a favor and don’t go. This is a terrible restaurant and they need to close it. CLOSE IT!!

We arrived on time for our 6:45 reservation. The hostess desk was unmanned and the bartender who had full view of us didn’t acknowledge our presence or go to retrieve the hostess. We waited for 10 minutes to no avail and then asked if he could get someone to seat us at which he snapped “just as soon as we can we will”. It was obvious they were short staffed and looking around we could see many patrons who were gazing into space as though they weren’t being treated to good food or service. We took our cue and left…to NEVER return!

When we arrived the doors were broke and had to be let into the building. The restaurant was nice and clean. Our food arrived in a timely manner. The food in general was not very good. I had chicken parm and the chicken was tough and hard to cut. My wife had a pasta dish with bacon in it. The bacon was hard and crunchy. neither of us really enjoyed or meal and will not go back.

Worst experience at a restaurant in 4 years. Why take reservations then repeatedly tell people there are no tables? One bar tender on a Saturday night, making drinks and running drinks for servers. Eventually we left because it became obvious we were never going to be seated, or even ask if we would like to order at bar. No way will I ever be going back to this joke of a restaurant. Spend the extra money and avoid this place at all costs.

First of all I will NEVER EVER ATTEND THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! Secondly, open table has the menu as showing many appetizers, a very good MENU with MANY items to choose from. It states on open table that Friday and Saturday night Prime Rib is served!! Also there’s know place on open table that say this restaurant does not accept cash for payment!! Well my husband and I arrive at 6:15 pm our reservation was at 6:30 pm the sign at the desk say ( with no date posted on it) say we no longer accept cash were paperless only major credit cards or debit cards!!! What about people that’s traveling and have travelers checks or not have a major credit card or debit cards ?? Okay we were seated quickly ( that was nice less than 5 minutes) because only 6 people win there. On the table were the MENU’S and I couldn’t believe my eyes!! There were exactly 4 appetizers, 4 pastas to choose from, 2 steak dinners to choose from, 2 seafood dinners to choose from 2salads and 3 toppings to put on your steaks!!! There were about 4 or 5 desserts!! I almost died!! No prime rib was on that menu at all!!! We bread they put on the table was cold as the temperature outside that night !! We came on 11-17-23 when temperatures was 20 degrees outside ( it was our valentine day dinner weekend) our first a d last visit) we never got to order NOTHING!! The waiter or waitress never came to our table , the hostess gave us some water that tasted horrible!! When we got up to leave we sat there for 30 minutes no one never asked what’s wrong, what happened, can we help you, nothing!! It wasn’t crowded on 6 people was in the entire restaurant!! My husband is a Retired Sergeant of Police & I’m an APRN this is so horrible the way we we treated and you need to update your menu selection on open table …. Also the paperless policy is not such a good idea everyone does not have cards these days!! The world operates on cash so maybe relax on that policy or at least post it on open table!! I have a copy of the menu !!

We were seated and served very quickly. The food was good. However after receiving our meal, the server never came back to ask how things were or if we needed refills. After we finished eating we sat for 30 minutes waiting on our check, I had to go to the bar and ask to get our check.

Worst place I have eaten in a long time. My lasagna was burnt and inedible. Had to send it back. A couple of the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail weren’t even deveined. Lots of other good Italian restaurants in the area that are half the price.

This was the worst service I have ever experienced. After we left we read reviews from the restaurant and it seemed like others had the exact same lack of service.

We went on Valentine’s Day, and the restaurant was not able to keep up with the demand. We sat at our table for 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. Then the poor frantic waiter showed up and said, do you want an appetizer? I then responded with we would like to have a cocktail first. He apologized profusely and said they were overwhelmed in the kitchen. I had the ravioli and shrimp Rosa and it was absolutely delicious. However, my wife had the ribeye steak and it was very small and thin and overcooked. Which was surprising, considering this is a steakhouse. I would actually go back for the pasta but definitely not steak.

This restaurant needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom. Unfortunately, it is completely mismanaged and understaffed. The food that we did receive was Not even equal to what you would receive at a drive-through restaurant. we did not actually eat our entrées after 2 1/2 hours of waiting we paid for what we received to that point and left the salad and the shrimp cocktail appetizer that we did receive were no good until this place is reworked. I would avoid it or you will just be wasting your money and time.

it took 30 minutes for a waiter to take our order. The salmon was tasteless and overcooked too many people for the number of servers.

We went to Johnny’s steakhouse for Valentine’s Day and it was not good! I understand it was Valentine’s Day but they were extremely under staffed! We had to wait to get water ! Food was ok but after sitting and waiting for so long we were just ready to go! And also they did not take cash! Maybe try them on a day that’s not too busy!

We couldn’t find the place for the longest time, didn’t realize it was in a hotel. No one was in the restaurant except for about 4 people, took forever to be greeted and to get a seat. Menu was very limited, about 75 percent of the menu was unavailable. Only steak they served were medallions. A few of the lady servers were heard using racial slurs constantly in the background. Food was very bland, def won’t be returning

Don’t waste your time or money. This place needs a complete overhaul from the top down. We had a reservation for 7:15 PM are meal arrived around 9:30PM. The service at the bar was worse than the dinning room.

The company was very very understaffed They had a total of 3 servers in the entire restaurant. We checked in at 650 for a 7pm reservation and told us they are running 30 min behind The sever had very little knowledge of the menu and just an overall terrible experience with my wife.

I cannot rate the food as showed up for a 7:00pm reservations, was told 30-40 minute wait, but was welcome to eat in the bar. I declined as the point of the reservation is to be in the dining room. Began waiting at the bar, after 15 minutes of no server (literally sitting at the bar), walked out and went to SW Clyborne, great service and food.

Hubby and I wanted to try something new for our wedding anniversary this place had wonderful reviews so I made a reservation for Saturday the 10th and 6:45 well we waited almost 1 1/2 hours for our reservation mind you our reservation was at 6:45 we finally got our table at almost 8:30 still didn’t even get our food until after 9 and when we did get it there was a hair in our butter and bread. My husband couldn’t even enjoy his spaghetti because he said it tastes like it was from out of a jar. I ordered the parmesan crusted steak and it didn’t even taste like a steak tasted more of a pork chop. So

Our waitress was great. But the restaurant was put of 3 different meals I had to decide on. So I ended up wirh something I didn't really want and when I started eating it was good but tpo cheesy for me and there was NO lobster meat in it like supposed to be. Kitchen didn't tell waitress they were out of that part of the entree. Good thing I said something because I'm paying for lobster meat that is part of the entree! They took it off my bill. I still ate the shrimp out of it. I didn't want anything else on the menu so I just got another side salad. I think the place is nice and would recommend and hopefully all their food supplies are in stock.
