the food was good. The pita appetizer with hummus was delicious! The best pita I have had! The pita tasted seasoned and grilled and the humus was creamy and tasty but not too garlicy ! My husband got a lamb type of casserole. He said it was tasty, however the portion was not that big. Our beautiful Brazilian server was quick and warm and friendly! We had the most wonderful conversations with her! Love her and hope she succeeds in all her adventures! Our two only suggestions-update the sitting area and offer something warm and decaffeinated at night (no decaf coffee or tea)

The food was okay - I would not recommend the fish. Tables were too close together. We asked for a table that wasn't in such a crowded area, but was told it was reserved for larger parties - shortly thereafter a party of 3 was seated there.

This was our first time at Jimmy’s Taverna. It was a lovely experience. The staff was so nice. The food was amazing. The drinks were so so good!!! We will definitely be returning.

Overall food was good but very skimpy. 2 small pieces of spanakopita for $12 and a tiny portion of pita and hummus for the same. Also a very pushy sommelier. Great wine list but wasn't happy that we only ordered glasses, not a bottle.

Can’t believe this restaurant is about to close because it was bought by a bigger company. I’ll miss the good vibe of this “small business”. Besides, the food and drinks are outstanding and the staff is extremely kind!!

Jimmy’s Taverna is not what it used to be, due to the sale of the business by the owner. The ambiance has completely disappeared (we walked in last night, and the lights were on way too bright. I thought it was for a cleaning crew! Seriously! And at the once-busy bar, it was completely empty, except for a stack of dirty dishes that a waiter apparently left there, and no one in management thought it might be prudent to bus them entirely!) The food was decent, but since we had been patronizing this restaurant for the past 9 years, it was not what it once was! Such a shame. Another casualty of the pandemic.
