First time trying these foods. I went with a friend who is familiar with this cuisine and I sampled a variety of the dishes. It was phenomenally delicious! What a wonderful experience that I had here! The wait person was extremely helpful and helped me to understand my choices and select. I had leftovers so that I will continue to enjoy the food! I will definitely be returning here.

We arrived just before 730 for our reservation and were seated shortly thereafter. Proceed to wait for 30 minutes without any acknowledgement from the staff. No water, no menus, nothing. It was as if we didn’t exist. I understand they were busy, but the restaurant has ten tables and neither of the servers even looked in our direction. Other tables received multiple dishes, drinks and refills in the time we were waiting. Ended up walking out and going to another restaurant at 8. Not sure I’ve ever experienced that before. So disappointing because we were really excited to try it and had only heard good things.

Very pleasant place, delicious food, service quick and polite. One of the friendliest, most satisfying restaurants in Chicago.

Food was good. Hard to understand the menu and not alot of help from wait staff. Food came up in drips and drabs. I’m guessing it might have been smoother if we shared everything

High quality, delicious central Asian food delivered with great service in a cozy, cute byo restaurant with a low noise level that allowed for conversation without yelling across the table. I’d recommend the hand-pulled noodles & pelmeni.

For the most part the food here was outrageously delicious. We never tried central Asian cuisine before so we ordered quite a bit! Some things were a bit undersalted but seasoning in general was fantastic. The Plov was underwhelming but the Chicken Tabaka and lamb chops were amazing. Get a side of roasted potatoes, they are so flavorful and delicious! Also their pierogis are the best I’ve had in awhile, couldn’t stop reaching for them. The space is small and cozy, the staff is kind but very slow to service. There were many times we had to keep requesting water refills and we had to flag down a staff member if we needed anything as they don’t check in. Again, they were very kind just not very attentive. We’ll definitely be back because the food is out of this world!

We found non metered parking nearby. Room was almost empty to start around 1:30. Before we left, lots of young men came in principally to watch soccer on the TV. We ordered three appetizers and a small order main dish. I can't recall the names. They were all good and all different from the everyday. We had tea which was served hot and some bread which was ordinary. Dining area is small and drab and dishes and utensils ordinary. Overall, this was a unique and fun dining experience.

This was an opportunity to try many new dishes. Our favorites were the blini, the soups (especially the smoky solyanka), the warm cucumber salad with beef (sounds strange, but it was good) and the luscious, juicy, char-grilled chicken thigh kabob. Entrees came with a lot of good vegies. The server was welcoming and very helpful.
