Jeff Ruby's is an amazing restaurant. The whole staff is so kind and wants to make sure you have the best experience possible. Can't find any steak better than theirs. Highly recommend!

First visit to Jeff's place off Fountain Square. its a wonderful upgrade from its predecessor taking all the great things and making them better. Service, Food, Atmosphere was all outstanding and given high expectations, still exceeded them.

The crab was okay for the collingsworth. It didn’t have much flavor. It had several shell pieces in it. I am also gluten free and had an allergic reaction after mentioning I had an allergy. They should have more gluten free options, they should make a gluten free menu so the waiter can be more aware

It’s js actually unfortunate that it’s getting worse the serverI don’t know why it took over 3 hours to eat. The service looked lost and unaware of much. I hate complaining all you do is send an apology letter and the issue is never rectified. All you seem to do is send a card with an apology. Prices are sky rocketing. I was a fan but this is wearing thin now. Could only suggest looking for a better experience. Can’t vote 5 stars when the service and food is now turned into mediocre for us. . .

The food was pretty good but something was quite off with the service. We ordered a bottle of wine and 30 minutes later they told us they were out of it, so we ordered a different bottle and almost another 30 minutes later they told us they were out of that one too. At this point they recommended a bottle which we said ok to, but now we have been there over an hour and have not ordered any food! We eventually ordered apps, and at about the 2 hour mark after we were done with the apps, we had to ask if we could order dinner now. All in it was about a 3.5 hour dining experience with minimal service.

Absolutely phenomenal meal! The crab cake, the steak, the brussel sprouts, etc *Chef’s Kiss* we finished dinner with a “Ruby Vuitton” and the presentation was top tier!

An excellent evening, as always at Cincinnati's premier steakhouse. The staff made us feel very welcome. It was our anniversary and they treated us like it mattered to them. It was our first time in the new location and I have to say that aside from the noise level (which was ridiculous when we arrived) it's a great space. We'll definitely be back.

We have dined at this location several times. Service was impeccable as always! However this is the first time we were less than satisfied with the food. The Freddie salad was disappointing…the lettuce was not crisp and some of the lettuce was starting to turn brown on the edges. We did let our server know about this. My husband ordered the Wagyu steak which he has had in the past. Another disappointment…it was dry. However my regular 6 oz filet was definitely Jeff Ruby quality so at least one good meal that evening. We didn’t bother to complain about the Wagyu, should have considering the price. But they comped our salad and dessert since it was our anniversary.

A beautiful space, screams high-priced and special occasion. But the food lived up to the hype and the servers -- a brace if Cams -- were down-to-earth, gracious and professional. They ricked! Too bad we started the evening on a sour note. The bar staff was totally confused by our order -- martinis!! -- and at considerable cost they were the worst martinis ee've ever had. Mostly water. We couldn't even taste the gin. Skip the bar. Ask for one of the Cams. You'll be glad you did.

Wonderful evening. They treated us as if we were special guests because of our anniversary. Picture and dessert included. It was fun and relaxing. The piano music was a huge plus. we'd be there every week if we could!

We enjoy all Jeff Ruby locations. However we found the bar area very loud ! Service was good and food was excellent. Guests were underdressed, very casual, for the most part in the bar.

The steaks were outstanding, and the Burrow sauce was divine. The Mac and Cheese was the best I ever had, with a depth of flavor I never experienced to the degree I experienced here. Our server Alec was extremely attentive and very assistive as we made our ways through the menus. He was top notch and even recommended a fabulous dessert known as Butter Pie. The only tiny critique from me is that the ambience is very very old school. But such is life at a high end steakhouse, and all in all this dinner was truly a stellar experience.

My absolute favorite steakhouse in the USA! Best service. I got to dine in the library! How cute of a spot that I’ve not been in. I missed Jordan F, Cody & Dakota. Erin was a great server tho as she follows the JR standards ☺️ I am never disappointed here except when my fav people including Mr Ruby aren’t there.

We've been dining at Ruby's restaurants for many years and have always favored The Precinct, even after the new downtown location opened. However, we took our daughter downtown last night for her 10th birthday and had a fantastic time. Everyone from the hostess, to the four managers who stopped to check on us throughout our meal, to our wait staff, made her feel special. We had a young woman, Vilma, who took our picture, then returned shortly later with it printed out and matted into a Happy Birthday card of sorts. Hannah was our waitress. She was amazing, and is my new favorite staff member. We will be requesting her each time we go from now on! The band was terrific as well. The food, as always, never disappoints. My daughters only regret was that she was too full for dessert. She can't wait to go back for her next birthday....mom and dad will be back much sooner!

This experience was incredible. We came to the Cincinnati location to celebrate our son’s birthday. We arrived early and anticipated to have to wait until closer to our reservation time of 7pm . The team at the front desk was exceptional, welcoming, and professional. They were kind enough to accommodate us early, even with how busy they were. Our dining experience started with our SA, Bradley. He was prompt in greeting our table and immediately offered us water. He was attentive, polite, professional, anticipated our needs without us asking, and passionate about his job and the guest experience. Our server was Robby B. He reads his OpenTable notes for his tables. He immediately acknowledged that it was out som’s birthday. He was professional, knowledgeable, polite and passionate. We will ask for him again. We ordered sushi, king crab, the Wagyu meatball, and the tomato and mozzarella. All of our appetizers were excellent and executed at A high level. The meatball and the Godfather roll were outstanding. Robby B and Bradley worked together as a team to ensure our experience was flawless. Dinner was amazing. Each of us at the table ordered a steak. I ordered the 70 day dry aged bone in ribeye. I ordered it medium and it came out a true steakhouse medium. The spinalis was a little crispy and perfect. My wife and daughter both ordered the 8 oz filets. They were also cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Our son and his friend both order the A5 Wagyu filets. They were amazing. We ordered multiple side dishes and finished off the special evening with the Air Ruby and Ruby Vuitton. Both desserts were rich and beautifully made. They were incredible. Robby B provided us with an unforgettable experience in Cincinnati. We drove 3.5 hours to dine at this location yesterday and then turned around and drove the 3.5 hours home. I would do it again and will. Thank you to the AGM for stopping by our table and to your EC and amazing culinary team for their handwork and passion.

Our wait staff seemed to not know what was going on. He had 2 “assistants” not sure why…our drinks were never refilled and our waiter was extremely hard to locate. Overall for as excited as I was to finally get a table and host out of town guest and inflate the amazement of Ruby’s…I may not return which saddens me

Jeff Ruby's always delivers. The food was great and the service by Alex was fantastic. The singer in the bar was not as good as the last time we were there but she wasn't bad. Will be back many times. The free photo was a nice added touch.

Staff was not very welcoming at the hostess counter. They overlooked us plenty of times. When we questioned it, they told us we had to have a reservation because they were all booked up. We were a party of 2 and I didn't understand why it was mentioned to begin with as we had already waited 15 minutes. And, we witnessed others with no reservation being seated immediately. I walked outside of the front door, went to the restaurant's website and made a reservation. It was 7:29 and the availability was for 7:45. We walked right back in with a reservation. They girl gave me an ugly look and I said I have a reservation for 7:45. They guy that told us there was no availability made a comment "oh, so you were able to get a reservation on open table huh?" I just didn't even respond...

Everything was amazing, especially our server John! A little loud for our table of 7, but the view and the decor were worth it!
