As usual, Jamieson’s Char-house in Skokie was superb! The shrimp De Jonghe was to die for, the pan-fried Red Snapper was amazing as was The Baked Halibut! Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and very courteous. All together, I would rate this restaurant Five Stars!

We had to wait a bit for our meal which was understandable considering it was Mother's Day and the place was really busy. We arrived a little early for our reservation but were seated quickly. Wait staff were attentive and the food was very good. An enjoyable experience and we'll be back.

The food was good, but the service was not. I certainly give latitude when places are slammed and/or the server is young. Neither was the case here. Perhaps there was some external factor going on, but I won't be returning here. The food was good, don't get me wrong. The service certainly detracted from the experience.

This restaurant was an excellent choice for our monthly dinner with friends. The food and the service were excellent. The Bone-In Pork Chop was magnificent. I would highly recommend it.

Everything was first class for us: this restaurant is run very professionally. We were promptly seated, our waitress was extremely attentive, and both of our entrees were so sumptuous that we wound up taking half of the food home. This venue has an "old-school" ambiance to it, in the best of all senses.

We had an excellent lunch. Great prices and the soup, chicken sandwich, and burger were delicious. Very good service, also.
