                                                                                        I’ve driven by J Liu for years, but never stopped in. Learning of a special Mothers’ Day Buffet, I decided to mark a reservation for my family of four. I was very disappointed with my experience. Ambiance - there were several open tables while we were there, but we were seated right up against another table. It was so tight that the back of my chair was touching the back of the chair of the gentleman sitting behind me. Drinks - I got a peach margarita, but it didn’t taste like peach at all. Instead, I got sweet and sour mix with a shot of tequila. Food - The buffet was a bunch of trays around the bar with warm (but not hot) food. I’m a vegetarian, so my options were limited, but my options didn’t seem like they were made fresh. We avoided the dessert table due to a food allergy at our table Price - at $49 a head, the buffet felt overpriced.

                                                                                        I love the variety of foods offered. The food was plentiful and delicious. The staff is gracious and attentive to customers. The location is convenient in relation to access to the freeway (my children travel from Cleveland to meet for brunch/dinner). The price point is very reasonable. It’s an overall good deal,

                                                                                        We went to j. Liu in Worthington for Mother's day. The brunch buffet was delicious and have a great variety of items. would like to go back and order off their menu sometime.

                                                                                        Not a big fan of ragging on a small business, but with folks needing to stretch their dollars further than ever, I wanted to highlight my experience. Took a little while for food to come out for a 4:30 meal–the place wasn’t very busy. I enjoyed the Mother’s Day weekend with family, but after the first bite of my burger I noticed a very long hair in it. Showed it to the waiter and expected they would give some discount or even cover the part of my check (drink, appetizer and salad). However, the waiter only offered to, “have the kitchen make something else”. It took the better part of 45 minutes to get my burger, so I decided against it. I think the people are very nice and I enjoyed the atmosphere, but the food–the main reason for going–was ruined with a long piece of hair. I was actually stunned that there was no offer to try to make it right outside of waiting for a new entree that would’ve come out 20-30 minutes after the rest of my party had finished their meal. And I’m not generally the type of person that is going to waste my time arguing or goading an establishment to do the right thing. There are plenty of places to eat. Had it been handled it better I would have left a five-star review and made it a priority to visit again. But it wasn’t, so I am extremely unlikely to visit either this restaurant or their Dublin location in the future.

                                                                                        We came during happy hour, and couldn't have been more pleased!!!! It is a very pleasant and comfortable venue - and on a more upscale feel (which was appealing to us). Drink and appetizer selections were wonderful!
