Le J. Gilbert’s est un steakhouse chic et décontracté servant du bœuf maturé de qualité cuit sur un grill au feu de bois de mesquite. Vous dégusterez différentes pièces de steak, des fruits de mer frais (notamment des gâteaux de crabe primés) et d'autres mets faits maison comme des frites au fromage bleu Maytag et des velours au chocolat.     Another outstanding dinner! Our server was attentive without hovering and the food was excellent as ever. The steaks were beautifully done, the crab cakes rich and flavorful, and the wagyu beef disappeared to the last morsel.

    My servo, Mercedes, was at my table very promptly filling my water glass and taking my order. She was back with my wine and then some bread quickly. She explained the differences in the butter. She checked back once while my meal was being prepared and refilled my water. I chose the prime rib special with a baked potato and asparagus. The beef was magnificent, cooked rare as I had desired with the horseradish sauce I had requested. You could taste that the asparagus had been grilled. The baked potato cooked perfectly with the skin was studded with Kosher salt and crispy. The whole meal was very reasonably priced. I had a 9 oz. pour of wine for the same price other restaurants charge for a 4 ounces. My third great experience there.

    The food was great. My son had the pork chop which was amazing. I had a filet and it was very good. Our server was outstanding.

    We frequent J. Gilbert's quite often. It is, was, our "Go To" place for a Fine Dinner experience. However, last night was a Show Stopper. First, we had reservations for 7pm and did not get seated until 7:20pm. Then waited probably 20 minutes for the order to be taken. I will say our Waitress was exceptional, very caring & very attentive. However, after being seated for more than an hour, our food was not good, not even close to our previous experiences. The Asparagus wasn't cooked properly, the Scallops were rubbery, the Steaks were way overcooked. (I asked for Medium Rare, I got Well Done) The worst meal I have ever had at J. Gilberts, maybe the worst Steak I've had at any Fine Eatery. Not at all consistent with our dozens of previous experiences. Almost like the Ownership & Management had changed......

    Our server Jay was great. We were celebrating our anniversary and they took time to decorate the table, have a card. Dinner was delicious and so were the cocktails. Other than the noise level being a little more than I would like it is a great place for dinner.

    Steak house that couldn’t cook a steak!! Ordered a medium filet and it stingy and rubbery. Burnt on outside, but bright red inside. My steak sat forever, because server never came back. Took forever to get a steak knife?? Had to beg another server walking by. Then had to flag someone else to get a re-fire, was not happy to have to help me.. Finally server showed up, but had no idea about my steak. He ran back to kitchen and had the nerve to try n serve a bunt hockey puck of a steak.. Just nasty. Ridley took steak away n just let us sit?? No communication?? My boyfriend ribs weren’t even cooked.. Don’t waste your money

    Excellent service! Our server did not over visit our table every 5 minutes but she knew exactly when to attend to us! She was very knowledgeable of the menu! We had a quiet, relaxing & intimate dining experience! Food was cooked to perfection! Absolutely the best meal we've ever had to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary! Highly recommend! It was very romantic! We will definitely be back!
